"MRI, hip, w/wo contrast
INDICATION: M25.551 Pain in right hip. Right hip pain after fall.
TECHNIQUE: MRI RT HIP WITHOUT AND WITH CONTRAST. Multiplanar multisequence exam.
Dotarem 10ml
COMPARISON: Radiographs 10/29/2024
FINDINGS:
There is mild edema of the midline aspect of the bilateral hip abductor
musculature, suggestive of muscle strain. There is also mild edema within the
right gluteus medius and minimus musculature suggestive of muscle strain.
The rest of the included tendons appear unremarkable.
There is no acute bony fracture detected.
Moderate joint space narrowing of the bilateral hip and SI joints.
On the right, there is a small hip joint effusion with mild partial thickness
cartilage loss. No discernible labral tear although this is not an arthrogram.
No suspicious enhancement identified although there is significant artifact
limiting assessment on the contrast-enhanced sequences. Due to medication pump.
