Ya know something... I just got a "final warning" in an email from a furniture company saying if I don't buy now too bad on me! All about their holiday sale.
That tells me their desperation on trying to sell their product and that their policy in advertising STINKS!
I immediately deleted the ad. I'll show them...LOL!
And I have several pieces of their furniture in our home! Bought in 2004 after Hurricane Charley made it rain indoors tearing off our roof that time! No warning it was supposed go 100 miles to our north that time, to Tampa! But it didn't it decided to make a last-minute right turn into Charlotte Harbor! Even when you tarp a roof in the aftermath without consistent power to dry out items mold on soft surfaces and wood will be destroyed!
We only replace furniture due to mold, hurricane damage, or items being broken or stained beyond repair!
Once the shock and trauma subside enough to think relatively clearly can be weeks the same possible time it takes for the power companies to restore your power!
You heard right, not days, weeks!!!
We are reaching what the meteorologist calls the PEAK OF HURRICANE SEASON, legitimately September 10th is the day!
But we have had only five named storms so far that the powers that be named/predicted 25 or more by the end of the season will come to be! The busiest season of number of storms ever! Next one will be Francine! The season runs yearly from June 1st through November 30th!
In closing and importance...
