"Where did the word Friday come from?
- The word “Friday” has its roots in Old English and was originally derived from the Old Frisian word “Frijādag.” This Frisian word translates to “Free Day” in English. The name “Friday” has been used to refer to the sixth day of the week in various Germanic languages since ancient times."
- Thanks to...!
Moving on...
Hubby's Mohs surgery went well yesterday for his Basal Cell Carcinoma. The doctor took a rather large chunk from his jaw and left a flap that with the stitches and Vaseline applied daily should leave minimal scarring! He has throbbing pain that extra Strength Tylenol seems to alleviate somewhat.
Moving on once more... the gardeners have made considerable headway with our overgrown gardens. The backyard one is finished with the other two still under construction. The grass will fill in we just came out of drought so it will take a while since we are still under water restrictions due to so many things and no fertilizer is allowed during this our rainy season due to runoff going into the canals and causing Blue-Green Algae which is toxic to people and animals!
Allow me to introduce you to the crew...
