The picture above is not totally accurate because I take my glasses off when using the computer or reading. Why? One may ask... well due to me having monovision done when I needed cataract surgery back in 2010 and 2014.
Which means I had one eye become a reading lens and the other a distance lens. I used to do that with my contact lenses I would play with them switching them back and forth! Using both my left brain and right brain intermittently. But you of course cannot do that once cataract lenses are implanted.
The second one was done so late because I had an idiot neurologist at the time who said to me that I had so many bouts of optic neuritis that it wasn't worth fixing the cataract in my right eye, so I became legally blind. More so since my left eye had become a near-seeing eye due to my brilliant idea of monovision lenses! Eventually, though it did come to pass near/far seeing without glasses! Now they implant bifocal-type lenses in both eyes having the same effect!
By the time I found a decent eye doctor who disagreed it was, and I quote, "the size of a third world cataract!" This was a doctor who had worked on the ship Doctors Without Borders said that to me!
After all is done and said the actual issue I was about to get to, is I do not know who drew this picture that I have been using for years??? It appeared to be free for anyone's use so I commandeered it and have used it ever since.
Sometimes, it won't permit the copying and pasting from my blogs...
which makes me think that whoever drew the picture doesn't want me to use it?
But years ago, I downloaded it to my computer a few times, so I would never lose it again!
Anywho, it only happens sometimes, which then confused me. I just wish they would talk to me... or maybe not...
I am afraid of the word, "NO"! But aren't we all?
Allow me to introduce you to the crew...
