I am very fortunate, meaning appreciating diversity, that they appear to pride themselves in having an international crew of medical professionals...Many are bi-lingual and Volha the nurse I saw is originally from Russia but twenty years ago! I am sorry to say I was calling her Olga, since that was what my hearing heard...when first introduced to her. Here I thought my hearing deficit was only 20% in one ear and 29% in the other, could it have been affected by my stroke and gotten worse?
Oh well, I will try to remember for next time, she never once corrected me? Is it rude or something? I would have.
I do have a sacral pressure ulcer due to being in bed and in my chair...!
And a medication in salve form Santyl 90 was ordered but my drug store had to special order it, so it might come in today. Also, special bandages will be used for the medication which I need a home health care worker to apply. The pharmacy said they would call when it came in.
I go back to physical therapy this morning!
Let me introduce you to the crew...
