The only realization for doing this comes to mind... MY SANITY!
No, I am not INSANE but that could be due to this path that I chose when it had been suggested by my now very dead cousin to deal with my new diagnosis in 2006 of Multiple sclerosis, that took me two years until I did decide to do this...! He was eighty-four years old and very ill at the time of his demise, so no surprises there. Good news since all of my immediate family died in their seventies! He was on my father's side his sister Rose's son. She had three children all good people, ten grandchildren from those three and ran her haberdashery till nearly the day she died! Dad had five siblings; Mom had four! Which means I had a lot of first cousins, last count was fifteen plus!
Actually, lost count.
A couple of them lived well into their nineties!
So, there is HOPE! And perhaps a goal!
Is it insane to want to live long with so many ills?
So far nonfatal, except of course those warning strokes...!
But the fact they were caught early is a definite plus!
Remember the acronym for a stroke and get help fast!
