Have you ever gone to the emergency room of your local hospital and felt worse than when you originally went there?
I did.
We would have to go back a few months when I was not admitted then.
To be precise it was on 2/28/24 that egregious lack of listening to his patients Dr. T. G. emergency-room doctor fell down on his job of first doing no harm... okay, no actual harm, was done to me, although he did inject me when told not to, but the possibility was given in the form of medication that COULD HARM ME and has previously! In prescriptions called in for me and then picked up without knowing what they were until then! I constantly tried to tell the doctor I was coded due to opiates given to me by medical staff at different hospitals including the one I was currently in!
So do not give them to me! But he kept calling my neurologist who either forgot or he lied about me being able to get them for pain!
The medication culprits including one I have no idea why he would call into a pharmacy, due to it being used for people on cancer meds with nausea, and no I did not say that any of what he wanted to give me for home use caused nausea... I said they coded me with the one medication and another I could not have due to my stomach surgery! The third is used for nausea from cancer meds, I do not have cancer, and my Hubby is in remission from it...
Below is what he ordered from my pharmacy...
Ondansetron 4 mg. tab nausea from chemo.
Hydromorphone 2mg. tab opiate that coded me.
Dexamethasone 2 mg. tablet steroid by mouth is no longer allowed at that point due to major stomach surgery!
True all low doses but with my history why even do that??? But I am only 100 lbs.
HE DID NOT HEAR ME!!!
I guess at this point, I do not recall, why I went initially.
I saw my neurologist yesterday and she said that I should have not been given those medications! And tried to come up with ideas on how we could get rid of them... from the Police station to the Firehouses. Also to get rid of many other outdated medications.
I wonder to this day if that anguish from his lack of true concern for his patient may have caused my stroke on 4/19/24? Nah, who knows...!
Let me introduce you to the crew...
