Weird stomach issues and trying different prescribed medication by doctors

On and off for many years, perhaps ten, I have been on Nexium or the generic value 2X a day as per gastroenterologist prescribed for GERD.  But last December apparently, my internist switched that out to Famotidine 40 mg. once a day. And I had stopped it and did not recall why. Hubby reminded me that I still had some left on the top shelf of the hall linen closet, good till December 2020, and so not remembering why I had stopped I switched our the generic Nexium and this past weekend began trying the Fomtidine once again after the doctor asked me about it when I saw him last Thursday morning. Well, my stomach is still no better and my dizziness has gotten worse, and so I went to the two medications online to see the side effects, and sure enough, for Famotidine dizziness is one of them! Nexium messes with your liver and kidneys, no wonder I should be off that too!

I am at a loss, and so I have a call into the internist's office asking if there is a third choice?

Many of you know that my tummy problem history has been written about for quite some time on here.
Diet has changed if perhaps you were wondering.
No more spicy foods or even onions, except without thinking in my tuna salad that I had made earlier today and could not eat... what a mistake! Only had a few bites and it had stopped me!

Breakfast was a soft boiled egg and toast.

Yesterday I did have a glass of milk that seemed to be very, very bad!

Thinking as in the old days if your stomach bothered you it was a great idea to drink milk!

Maybe I am lactose intolerant?

I did also eat a few slices of cheddar.

Wouldn't that be weird, not GERD but food allergies sort of???

I have had the surgical examination, of endoscopy for hiatal hernia, mine was small, and for GERD and that was diagnosed years ago.

Right now I am at a loss of not knowing what to do.

So that is why I called the last doctor I saw for this.

Oh, somedays I just feel like throwing all this stuff (crap) away!

But fear comes over me and then I ask, "what's next?"

Minor compared to many of my other problems of MS and asthma, but extremely uncomfortable at times for days like now.

The doctor, Dr. Arturo Rodriquez-Martin, and his staff are out for lunch until two, so I must wait.

I have no idea how long they take to get back to their patients, each office is different.

So here I lie in bed once again and more than I should I am sure, but sitting hurts.

Weird kind of diet I suppose.

Stay tuned...

Moving on... this morning's sunrise!

Moving on again to...
