The weather outside can be frightful but inside is not so much delightful in this pseudo normalcy world by this pseudo normalcy gal!

Not icy storms but heated up storms with lightning and thunder and such, and the inside though weather controlled by HVACs as we know that too much togetherness can cause thundering anger as another type of storming...

Oh well, not so swell.

Our WiFi went out for not even a half of an hour and I personally knew not what to do... until I realized our cell phones still worked! The house phone did not since we have been with Comcast I do not recall the house phone going down... scary alone feeling.

Sixteen years ago this past Thursday when Hurricane Charley hit us directly after going off of its initial course to Tampa one hundred miles to our north and upon impact, all the cell towers all went down.
Our landline though still did work and it then became our lifeline to family and friends and insurance companies, all those necessities that we somehow seem to often take for granted. Thus my mini flashback to that.

We had had 80K of damage on our little home back then on August 13th, 2004! A home that had been purchased for a mere 55K not quite six years before. Much was still there but a window had broken inward when our neighbor's roof went into it causing our roof to implode ours making it rain inside, ruining our new hardwood floors. Our sheds were gone and our beautiful Gazebo too! All done since our purchase.
We had done a bunch in those few years... and more since then, and since Irma only three years ago, September 10th, 2017... each hurricane seems to be the reason why to redecorate!

Thank goodness for insurance, since way back when our Sea Hunt center console boat on our lift had $4500 worth of a ding in its year-old fiberglass side then, yes only a year old. Progressive boat insurance paid within a week, while our homeowners with Tower Hill took until October then! Now, these days Tower Hill is much better.

We recently, two years ago, were able to trade it in for our Bennington in 2018, it of course had been repaired way back then.

We were very unprepared for Hurricane Charley that is why it still lurks in my memory as most who live in our area when they recall... IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!!!

Power was out for weeks, but our number one son got us a generator at Sam's club, which made our home almost inhabitable... it was August in Florida and 90's outside were the norm, but not INSIDE!!! Without airconditioning, it was that indoors too. So although we did not run the generator all the time when we did it was bearable!

Times you never forget...even if you want to.
People used to ask for many years then why not just move out of Florida, mostly our New Jersey contingency, but as Hurricane Sandy eventually showed them it doesn't really matter where you live, the weather happens!

All over this country and this world weather disasters can happen!

Moving on...

Mr. T AKA Pres. DJ AKA Orange Frothy-Haired Guy I hope your brother is doing better. Just in: The president's brother passed away last night after this was written, please accept my condolences to the Robert Trump family!

Now, down to real business... I wish you would realize that when the mail-in voting begins all over our country that by then you should have the USPS properly funded with whatever is necessary for honest and safe smooth ballots to be read in a timely fashion... for if this election does not go smoothly we, AMERICANS, will have to evict you out of our home, either way, win or lose!

You see, traitors who are in cahoots with foreign countries to steal the election are not what America needs or wants!
So putting the kibosh on our UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE is not only disloyal but a FEDERAL OFFENSE, punishable by being put into the hoosgow!
Oh yes, it is!
And I might add the key would also be tossed away!!!

Moving on again to...

PRESIDENT & VP NEXT!

VOTE FOR JOE & Kamala! VOTE FOR JOE & Kamala! VOTE FOR JOE & Kamala! VOTE FOR JOE & Kamala! VOTE FOR JOE & Kamala!
