As Laura threatens the mid-Gulf states from Louisiana through to Texas in this pseudo normalcy world by this pseudo normalcy gal pondering exists!

A category 4 hurricane is now what Laura will become meaning with 130-156 mph sustained winds, that is what Charley was 145mph winds, that causes falling and flying debris very high-risk of death is now in the most recent predictions with storm surge is the most devastating of twenty feet going inland for thirty miles causing complete devastation of property and heaven forbid people who do not evacuate!!!

This is an enormous storm too! (In size, miles of width) Not compacted at all! Please, people, DO NOT ALLOW THIS TO BECOME ANOTHER KATRINA with lives lost evacuate when told too!
You are all in my prayers!!! Today is the day to get OUT!!!

Moving on...

Talk about weird motions, I know we were talking about devastating hurricanes... though I had a nasty trip, no I did not leave the house I got twisted, bad choice of words well I actually got caught in the wheels of my walker, ha!
Yes, walkers are to help not harm and twisted was a poor choice of words due to my catheter from my baclofen pump had done that last month causing me to need revision surgery!
Any-who, I got my right toes, yes four out of five, caught in the right front wheels spokes while my left distal fibula, ankle outer bump, I only know that since I had broken it, fell on it off a ladder washing our fifth wheels RVs windows, but that was years ago, had a cast and everything anyway...
it got the go-round from the left wheel along with my lower left leg!

I know the way I describe it sounds like fun, but believe me, it was neither fun nor funny!

Perhaps it was due to my lack of sleep last night, yep I marked off a whole two and a half hours of that free important commodity that we all need to keep our engines purring!

It was an experiment I did not take my magical sleep potion doctor recommended.

I guess this proves I needed it otherwise I will once again risk life and limb!!! HA!

No joking matter!

But I digress...

In spite of that less than comedic burlesque pratfall, I did manage to give the littles, Bella and Chance, their baths/showers too and me of course right after!

It helped that is was on change the sheets day and they do sleep in our bed. I had been neglecting them only brushing and keeping their eyes sleepy free since my surgery last month... and Hubby doesn't do baths!

So it does fall on me.
They, the littles, Bella and Chance, are usually bathed weekly with a spray of Adams that these days is for fleas and ticks and mosquitoes. They need to get to their groomer too... even then I bath them first she only cuts their hair and nails... Aussie being an Australian Shepherd is bathes/showered less frequently since he sheds and they do not. And Aussie's nails are done at the vets according to need.

I am now lying in bed to write as I usually do, but will I get up that is the question???

Moving on...

Again this morning's sunrise, a dusty one due to the Saharan dust...once again!

And now without any further ado moving on again to...
