Today our numbers for cases went down insignificantly to 9,488 from 10,100+ the day before, so just the last two days just under 20K, each only from a twenty-four hour period, still obscene by anyone's logic.
People are going wild! An elderly woman who lives in a gated community here in Florida was buying her first gun made the news!!! Maybe it was just me but I could swear I saw a tremor in her one hand... not a good idea in my book...
Masks wearing people against no masks being worn people turn looney daily! The ones who wear them truly believe what the medical professionals are telling them that wearing them is safe and right to protect themselves and others they might come into contact with, while the ones who refuse to wear them insist it is their freedom of choice not to wear them and that they do not care what anyone else's does. Many had even in the not wearing group have said it's all a HOAX, referring to COVID-19 so no need!!!
With that kind of argument, what can anyone do???

That campaign slogan in my title as per old school friend in good ole NJ, "Wear a mask on your mug so you don't catch the bug" is catchy and simple to remember, spread it around NOT the VIRUS!!!
Important note: Corporate from Buffalo Wings and Rings just called back, apparently, the message Hubby left with them interested them enough to call back. Kathy is the contact person from their office, who told Hubby that their policy has been for all employees to wear masks. She said she was going to call the local restaurant and speak with Derek the manager there and tell him that and call Hubby back after.
Hopefully, this will make a change for the better. Sometimes my blogs have initiated a conversation too with companies straying from what is right and just for their patrons, and has been a good way to communicate after the direct approach might not have worked.
As consumers, we have that right... Gosh as Americans we do too! God Bless America!!!
Speak about using our freedoms for benefit... dare I say speaking your mind! Sorry, I just had to.
So the beat goes on...and we must know that in order for our "beat" AKA "heart" to continue...please, please, please listen to the MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS for your exact proper information about the PANDEMIC!!! Not pseudo ones.
I understand this has been a hard year so far, but one holiday one game one school year is all we have to remember for giving up our usual ways to deal with it all... It is so important to deal with the PANDEMIC so perhaps next year we will NOT have to be concerned with all those milestones being celebrated and explored!
