Times that turn your world upside down in this pseudo normalcy world by this pseudo normalcy gal!

Sure life was good??? Or is that what we all think in this parallel universe of everything now being bad/odd sickly scary nonconclusive etc. etc. etcetera ??? Clearly, we all remember things a bit differently than what they actually were way back when in February before???

Being retirees our close living together Hubby and I and a quieter lifestyle has been owned by us for over a decade...so we hadn't had too much difficulty handling the togetherness as much as some others had to. Not seeing people face to face has diminished sadly over the years as well... without grandchildren even there we have not had that being missed either since you don't miss what you haven't had.

Except for the fear of illness that can kill that too though is not that unheard of for any senior citizen. I suppose we are lucky that we have not succumbed to a senior living facility, have also kept us without concerns too. Those, in the beginning, were death traps for many!

But in retrospect, fear has been a friend when doing what is considered safe and right from the very beginning. I do believe we were looking in the linen closet for two items we have had for years, masks, and hand cleaner before they were considered a part of our daily lives for going out of our home.

Amazingly we to date have not had to buy any since we already possessed them. I think the masks were originally purchased for protection when using chemicals in projects that had severe odors that could harm us years ago, and the hand cleaner was something I would fill my smaller bottle with so I would not need to use the restroom when out in my motorized wheelchair.
Interesting how we had both and thinking back that has to be why those items were in that hall closet!  And with all the care we have been taking both have lasted still.

For all people desperate and alone my heart goes out to all of you!
Please DO NOT GIVE UP!!!
Sadness and depression are on the rise.
Things, bad, horrid things one might think will go on forever, but let me tell you this...IT CAN'T, AND IT WON'T!!!
Too many things in our history have been considered that way, but somehow someway things have a way of changing for the better, especially when they are so very bad!

Only recently did we actually purchased washable cotton masks that shall be coming soon.
Hubby goes out more than I, and he still has many left in that twenty-five pack box of disposable ones.

None of us knows when things will be getting better, but things do take time especially with all that is going on COVID-19 wise. Cases keep going up in our state but so far deaths have not. We are the newest hotspot. Gosh, am I so old that I can recall when saying a place was a hotspot meant it was a good thing??? Sadly, no longer.
Please call 988 which is now the simple suicide prevention number as of June 23, 2020, to contact someone to talk to! You are never alone in despair so call if that is your concern.

My short attention span has worked for me with the sadness of all different extremes.
Distraction too. Calling those three digits of 988 can be a lifeline use it!

Okay, we have established that life can be topsy-turvey and it is not to your liking, but we have to make the most of whatever life hands us and figure out how to put it all in perspective. Gosh, old habits die hard I almost said put a positive spin on it... don't get me wrong there is not anything positive about this COVID-19! So I retracted that old gem. Nothing and not anyone can put a positive spin on a lethal plague!

All we can do is learn the proper way to protect ourselves and our loved ones, and that is basically it!!! Wear a mask, social distance, and wash those hands... as if a newer age mantra! Namaste... truly!!!

Following guidelines, and having a calling, texting zooming buddy if all alone may be all anyone needs. Sanity is on trial here as much as this disease.
Read, write, do hobbies, exercise come up with ideas, and use them every day all day if necessary. Take a break from the news. I'm not saying to not watch it, but less is more.

Photography, I suppose is one of my hobbies, and all I use is my phone, so no costly equipment. Below is this morning's sunrise and our fur kids pic this morning too.

Bella in the foreground, next Aussie, and on the top of the frame Chance!

Moving on to ...

PRESIDENT NEXT!

VOTE FOR JOE! VOTE FOR JOE! VOTE FOR JOE! VOTE FOR JOE! VOTE FOR JOE!

Sanity runs in his family, and kindness, and smarts! Plenty of experience too! Did I mention EXPERIENCE! And level headed clear thinking!

And so we must go...

Be smart and be safe!
Happy good night to all!

Count those blessings and we will too!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
Take it, Bella! ( I am a Maltese Yorkie, a Morkie, and I might be four years old! We are all rescues so no one knows for sure.)I did this so I will be.

Aussie shut it down!

(I am an Australian Shepherd, an interesting factoid I was supposed to be a miniature but...as you might know I AM NOT! But I am now over two and a half years old, so I am the baby HA! I was three months old when Mommy and Daddy adopted me.)

No tail/tale publishing circa 2018.

Don't forget us too!

Easy as Aussie, Bella, Chance, now you got it!
And me Chance, I am a Bichon Frise mix, first I thought Maltese but now I am considering poodle? I am pictured here with Mom and Dad at the Port Charlotte Animal Welfare League! I am five years old they think.
