The last night's birthday feast addition...lobster tails, Alaskan king crab legs, shrimp, scallops and clams and mussels, potatoes small and red and corn on the cob...OH MY!!!
And oh so delicious! We ate nearly all of it! This gluttonous meal is only consumed on special occasions!

I'm calling this segment "Call ahead!"
This morning Florida broke all records with how many COVID-19 cases in one day and today that horrific number is... drum roll, please! Over 10,000 new cases in twenty-four hours!!!
Many would-be a shame and I am!!!
Which brings me back to the segment name, "Call ahead!"
About a week ago Hubby and I felt like eating take away meals of Buffalo wings and we have in the past gone to the Winn Dixie grocery for theirs, but due to corona, they have shut down that part of their deli... prudent with people helping themselves in that portion of their deli.
So while in the car Hubby called me that he thought he would try that restaurant by our Port Charlotte Town Center Mall called Buffalo Wings and Rings...he walked in with his mask on thinking their employees would have masks on too... boy no they did not!
He asked why through his mask why they weren't wearing any. The employee said that that they wore them for a few weeks but thought they were no longer needed...he got our order and left quickly sanitizing his hands as always...they take each other's temperatures but felt that no masks are needed! Who told them that I wonder???
Fast forward to today... Hubby was bothered by that and so he tried to look up their corporate office number to call them, but each is individually owned so basically, that was a dead end. So he called our local one and asked for their manager and he was told again that they wore them for a few weeks but thought they were no longer needed. Do these people live under a rock???
So I called from my cell saying that I am an older lady and was considering going there with my girlfriends for lunch what were their precautions???
The same story again no MASKS worn by employees, and that was today!
No wonder Florida has 10K cases no one is listening or reading the CDC guidelines!!!!
I told the young woman that I will tell all my friends that they DO NOT wear masks and so that is what this is making any and all of my friends know that Buffalo Wings and Rings in Port Charlotte Florida do not WEAR MASKS!!!!
I had said to my old friend in NJ we should all call ahead and ask those vital questions before we venture out at any age!!! Our new normalcy demands that self-preservation.
Don't they know that the mask is for them as much as for all of us!
New slogan for the campaign "Wearing a mask is never having to say you're sorry!"
