Every day the death toll rises worldwide 1.2 million people have the virus, and 65, 000 have died! Hard to wrap your mind around that! And this is real, not FAKE NEWS!
Lately, the ill and dead come closer to us all as we know people actually dealing fighting valiantly with this lethal disease or those who have died.
The sadness seems unending.
Psychologists want us to turn off the news and distract ourselves from this harsh reality by doing positive things.
This is a bit difficult with our human instinctive desire to want to know all that we can do stop this PANDEMIC, flatten the curve, stay at home, six feet away from all... wash those hands for twenty seconds, now wear your face coverings if you venture out! Becoming like a MANTRA! Somehow we feel there has to be more...to be done.
But what?
And so our sanity is at stake, and we must not allow ourselves to stop thinking clearly.
So finding outlets to allow each one of us to be free from worry sporadically is a very good idea. Exercise, dance, sing, play an instrument, play games, read, do things you didn't have time for before!
We Hubby and I were going to order take out when we reconsidered finding a recipe online, and we got lucky since we had all the ingredients! The recipe below is for more than we can eat the good thing is you can freeze the rest for next time or two!
We do enjoy cooking, another fine way to pass the time.
Sharing ideas to do positive things... if you have neighbors to share your bounty with doing that too is a great way to help them! And let's face it helping others helps yourself too! It feels oh so good!
Be smart and be safe!
Happy good night to all!
Count those blessings and we will too!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
