Cool front in Florida made for a splendid day!

Woman Screaming and Crying in Frustration While Getting ...

Sometimes small wishes do come true.
I had been wondering in this late in the year game if something as simple as a cold/cool front could still come through, to pull the sails out from under this exorbitant record-breaking heatwave with a substantial or at least a wee bit of a chill?

And so it happened today this morning actually anyway... the fifties overnight, and mild lower to middle 80s now.  This morning was actually cold enough for us Floridians to put the heat on in this new travel trailer. I emboldened new due to what happened when we did put its heat on very early this morning an awful smell and a smoke detector screeching as it was going off around 4 A.M.! So what do you do with that situation usually/instinctively...open the windows right? Noisy, but no one called the cops, thankfully!

How soon we forgot okay it's been only 26 years since we had a "new" RV and that was a 35' Prowler fifth wheel! This is a Forest River Aurora 18 RB travel trailer also brand new, oh the RB stands for rear bathroom we found out, small mystery solved.
New systems do have that issue even home units, ours not used that often does leave soot on ceilings when not used that often. (Perhaps mold recently, yuck?)

Any-who, for the second day I really did not go out that much. The blower set up to remove the mold in the guest-room is right over our covered patio. Making it not a pleasant area to sit on.
Talk about noise, the noise is strong here in the trailer too... with its very strong roof air-conditioner. Not at all that much different from the dehumidifier and HEPA filter machines in our home for weeks before and now to remove the mold.

Hubby and my hearing have been fading as the years go by due to our youth with loud music, besides listening, and Hubby using loud machinery as an adult, he played drums in a band, The Gents, and I with my friend she and I did a short stint as Go-Go girls at teen gatherings one even at a church.
Her Mom made the dresses two inches above our knees and I think we wore white Go-Go boots. Or perhaps black ballet slippers? I do not recall... it was ages ago!Vintage 1960s Mod Go Go Boots sz 7-1/2 or 8 approxthumbnail-image
The fact that many our age are hearing impaired can go back to those reasonings or just an age issue, who knows, sincerely!

Trailer style siesta!
