In Tobi speak that means getting back into her home, along with Hubby, Aussie, Bella, and Chance too!
For those who do not read this blog as often as I do it means we are living in a travel trailer alongside our home due to our home been infested with mold!
And yes they are working on it, but recently it was brought to our attention that most all of our furniture is infested with it too... so therefore we must replace that also!
And so... we went willy nilly when bringing in essentials clothing, human and dog food, utensils, plates, etc medications, bathing needs human and dog and such... our cells and my laptop and cords, but forgot GAMES! That is other than that are on our individual phones...I am talking old school like cards, backgammon enjoyable together games.
Sure our furry kids keep us busy... but get this yesterday I fell again in the trailer trying to squelch Aussie's barking at a dog on TV! I hit the floor and on my way down to the floor I nastily cut my right forearm, and my ear so I thought and bruised my jaw on that side too!
The only bloody part was my arm thankfully and my ear is very slightly swollen, no cauliflower there, and today my jaw and back hurt. I was not wearing the corset given to me to hold the baclofen pump in place...scary! Hubby was outside, so I laid there remembering the commercials with the elderly woman saying that she had fallen and could not get up! Now I was that woman!
After what seemed like an eternity I finally tried getting up and determined nothing was broken and tended to my slight gash in my right arm and ear not cut, but I put peroxide on both and oddly enough it foamed up on both! This is crazy I had just bathed! I applied polysporin and a bandaid to my arm cut and staired at my ear waiting to see if it was going to bleed but was just delayed, nope, nothing! My jaw actually didn't hurt till today along with my back that is usual for me anyway. Ice packs seemed to help along with all my usual medications.
And that is NOT what I call entertainment! LOL!
I really thought my falling days were over, balance is not my strong point, at one time it was with dancing and ice skating, how times change fifty years later...! Blame it on Multiple sclerosis, not the Bosanova! Hahaha...
Getting slap happy...no that would hurt!
Better than a lot of things though.
TV, TV, TV... is or was entertaining, even during the day but somehow with all the breaking into regular programming has become so frequent our "New Normal" daily reminders cause our devastating reality of what is going on here on our planet, not in some disaster movie!
So we DO need mind vacations...suggestions here are warranted.
To all humankind, I beg of you to tell me anyone else who will listen to how you are dealing with self-isolation, please?
Need fun sites, please.
