Thankfully we all made it through the nasty storm last night! Nothing destroyed or ruined. About a couple of hours north of here tornadoes did a lot of damage.
Here we were very lucky! We only had a little over an inch of rain in the dry season, and that is a very good thing!
This was the temperature earlier today and pretty much all day long?
Tomorrow promises warmer and by Sunday 80s once again!
Hubby and I have been feeling poorly these last two days. Hubby has congestion and a stomach issue and for a short time a low-grade fever but not now... I, on the other hand, have stomach issues. We both had flu-shots at the end of September and also pneumonia inoculations for life. So even if we get another strain of the flu we got it covered! Hubby is on Robitussin DM and Tylenol for a while as well as Imodium when necessary.
The fur babies had their doctor's Dr. Paul Belliveau's appointment today at the Animal Clinic in Port Charlotte FL. Aussie was due for his yearly check-up and shots, Bella was there for a heartworm blood test to make sure she was free of those nasty pests and Chance was there for his eyes and nose running.
Aussie got a clean bill of health, Bella's blood test will be back tomorrow, and Chance has an eye and respiratory infection that he has an anti-biotic and a topical eye ointment also an antibiotic. Thankfully the other two have not gotten it, they too have all their shots. Chance has to come back in two weeks for a re-check of all his complaints...NAH, fur babies never complain, it's up to us to do their bidding for them!
The trio was as good as could be.
