I guess lavender purple and blue means hot, hot hot!

 My idea below of that Japanese concept of maintaining a miniature tree, a Bonsai.

 Our colorful sunrise sheds and morning floras, bougainvillea and container jade plants.

Pony-tail palm below and intertwined with a poppy-colored plant, sorry my brain froze for the actual name! Originally not removed for privacy when we had just a chainlink fence, but we have a six-foot white wooden cottage style fence with plenty of privacy. But with all the heat as many low maintenance plants as possible are a very good idea! And yes that is our stainless steel five-burner barbecue, plus rotisserie, and a side burner that has not been used due to all the heat! 

 Purple skies must mean HEAT, HEAT, HEAT!
