And since there are so many I will say that they are only limited to your ability to think of them!
Not an insult just a truthful comment.
Fiction, non-fiction, any genre you might be able to come up with, including personal dictations of your daily diary, like mine themeless without rhyme nor reasons.
Most writing classes would suggest starting with something you know and i.e. near and dear to you.
Or toss that concept far away and actually research something more invigorating that you care to learn about!
Facts are important in non-fiction and should be maintained and researched.
While fiction gives your imagination free rein and range!
Then personal writing should be accurate but also elaborated with interesting bits of not too often known facts well researched about life or wherever your heart desires may lie. So basically a combo plate of the above concepts.
As you might be able to tell not too much has been going on today thus my non-degreed mini class on writing any and everything!
Oh here's something, Bella is in deep need of grooming, and when we bumped into her Veterinarian Dr. Paul from the Animal Clinic of Port Charlotte Florida in the parking lot that connects his office and Winn Dixie grocery store a few days ago he had said that she could go for her grooming in a week and so she is scheduled next week! Very necessary! My tremors prevent me from cutting her hair safely. I do bathe her and comb and brush her daily several times a day, so no knots or mats!
The delay is due to her treatment for heartworms because she was a victim of a bad lot of monthly medication that we had given to her in good faith. Heartgard paid for most of her treatment since it was their product that failed.
