Speaking My Mind: Another day another fall!

Actually, the day was going not too badly at all. I had decided after Hubby and the fur kids were fed I would tackle cleaning the pool again though this time from the surrounding decking.
In that process, I decided to fish out our shark baby pool thermometer and to my surprise, the reading was near 84F.
So I decided to venture in always easier when in the pool, for me anyway.
No problem the pool again was 98% better than with all the leaves and green moldy sides again I was able to remove!
In just a few days this too had occurred, and the chlorine delivery system that was automatic died and had had its last hooray about a year or so ago so we now use a yellow (plastic) ducky that floats in the pool and when filled also maintains a decent distribution of chlorine too!

Oddly enough Quackers the duck and Card the shark are swim buddies.
Talk about odd couples, any-who all was going swimmingly well!
That is until I decided while Hubby was trimming the floras from our seawall I thought I would help neaten up the last of the items to the side of the Southern exposure shed closest to the canal by twenty feet the allowable distance!
And that is when my day ended up not at all feeling productive!

I blacked/passed/dizzied out, yeah I fell!
On something really hard, cold and metal, I think Hubby called it an angle iron or some such thing? It did not have any sharp components to it and yet I have a cut just about two inches above my right ankle a slit around two inches long and bleeding nastily, as well as a bruise on the top of that same side foot when I fell and Hubby was helping me up after my right knee had a deep round dent in the side of it, weird.
My hip is also sore on that side.
My right arm that I oddly caught in one of my sliding drawers in the kitchen before I went out to "help" also sustained another ouch causing hurt since it was on that fall side!
So it's Saturday and it's not unusual for people with MS to fall in fact I probably fall less than most from what I just read.
Oh, I was using my walker that I let go of to pick up a container of metal wires and netting, I had already done a slight test to see if it was heavy or light, it was very light. So I picked it up and then everything went black and next I found myself on the ground feeling as if something sharp was going in three locations in the back of my right thigh. Oddly enough the only injuries seen were the two I mentioned first here.

Not wanting to go to the hospital, after a nice shower again, my second today I decided I am safer in bed and that is where I am as usual...bum bummed, de bummed, bummed!

Moving on... way better times on...

And except for the horrid heat, last night was also pleasant and so we went out on our 20-foot Yacht, the Miss "T" smoothie pontoon and here are PICS below for all of you to see of Charlotte Harbor and Punta Gorda Isles, construction of Sunseeker Resort on our side of the waters and Hotel Tikki bar and dock in Punta Gorda as well as Laishley Park Marina, Fisherman's Village some pretty BIG homes!
