A little bit more in real-time!

Woman Screaming and Crying in Frustration While Getting ...

Pretty nice weather for us in Southwest Florida this morning! So Hubby started on the plastic lattice that we have had since around 2002, it used to be inserted on our octagon Gazebo that Hubby had made before Hurricane Charley in 2004. It had had a paddle fan and planters also surrounding it, I had designed it and Hubby made it. Oh, Charley took it down and scattered the plastic lattice hither and yon to even some neighbors who kept it for their use! Over the years the lattice has been used mostly for trellis material for some of our vines. Most recently on the shed that had been there, that Hubby had made just after Charley struck, and its trellis as the one before now will be supporting our Pandora vine that we again salvaged, as you can see it had been put into that pot on the patio, as was one of the many Allamanda we had cared for similarly. And that one was moved to the trellis in the front. The Allamanda flowers are yellow and the Pandora vines are pale pink and very pretty! But you will see soon! They were placed there too, I also place some clippings of Plumbagos as well as a couple of Wandering Jew plants too! So eventually there will be pink, blue, purple and bright yellow colorfulness against that yellow facade.

The picture below shows the best miniature garden was Number One Son's mirror that is now painted blue that had been stained wood and had also been a lovely bird garden mirror! Cardinals have loved it the most! This year we have seen two pairs so far! The eventual vines climbing with the lattice is secure enough for the birds to land and look. Rather entertaining thus its location! Great views from the guest room or patio or sunroom.

The lattice is also being applied around the base of both sheds where they do have a larger opening screening too and then lattice over it for a cottage look, and a deterrent against wildlife making it their home underneath. Pretty and necessary! Oddly enough we had the just-right size screening too!
Click on it to get a closer look!

So much still to be done with the fence continuing on the Southern exposure shed, painting the decking, etc. Fortunately, we have a pressure washer that is how Hubby cleaned the plastic lattice so well. He uses it on everything to see if paint or washing needs to be done. And having so many things that can be repurposed or reused is definitely a blessing!

Happy goodnight to all!

Count those blessings and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

I did this so I will be.
