In case you forgot...in real time!

Raise the roof! Wok Wok! Not yet, please! Altogether nine trusses need assembly, and so that too has begun.

You as us wondered why the trusses would be done prior to the sides of the building. And the directions in the kit says so you have the flat floor decking available to assemble. Many pieces go into each truss so it's a slow go, so far one and a half trusses have been completed.

The project has no real schedule since it is for us the shed:
The shed above is what Hubby is building, in case anyone has forgotten what the finished shed will look like. Although, this shed is painted barn red ours will be mellow yellow the same as our home with the cream trim now becoming bright white, also like ours!

Now to be fair, the weather was slightly cooler today with feels like temps in the mere mid-nineties. i.e Fahrenheit!  Wow, what a difference! Who am I kidding I don't go outside, not unless I have to that is? Hubby felt no need to continue with no time restraints why should he?

Any-who, the fact this is being built by someone, a now senior citizen who has built a home a large five bedroom bi-level and renovated many others over the years, not as a career/business, but for personal use. Being an apprentice plumber while going to college for engineering, and also taking eight years of drafting as in drawing up blueprints. All these things make a shed from a kit that should be simple. Hubby has built three previous sheds from scratch from his own design to create the finished product. But due to Hubby's age, a finished product would have been several thousand dollars more expensive, and for Hubby, this was a nice compromise, a kit.
Who knew.
