I love people who...

always feel that they understand what I am going through due to them experiencing the "same" thing as me. Most say the heat or cold in any extreme is uncomfortable for them too as well as forgetfulness.
Although, I appreciate them commiserating with me the actual real reasons we are not the same is due to the explanations below, that swiftly leaves my brain when put on the spot when I try to explain otherwise.
Not to be rude or unkind, the explanations below describe more succinctly the differences of a healthy person and a person with MS experiencing the same temperature variances as well as issues with remembering.
"Heat or high humidity can make many people with multiple sclerosis (MS) experience a temporary worsening of their symptoms. Doctors believe that this occurs because heat causes nerves (whose myelin covering has been destroyed from MS) to conduct electrical signals even less efficiently. Most people with MS avoid hot baths, hot showers, and heated swimming pools.

For reasons that are not well understood, extremely cold temperatures and changes in temperature can also cause MS symptoms, usually spasticity, to flare."
Memory is more than an age issue too with MS:

Cognitive Issues
Cognition refers to a range of high-level brain functions including the ability to learn and remember information, organize, plan and problem-solve, focus, maintain and shift attention, understand and use language, accurately perceive the environment, and perform calculations.

About half of those with multiple sclerosis (MS) will experience some form of cognitive dysfunction, or impaired thinking in the high-level brain functions. For the majority of those with cognitive dysfunction, this means slowed thinking, decreased concentration, or decreased memory. Most of the time, difficulties with cognition occur later in the course of the disease; however, there are times where it occurs much earlier, and occasionally it's present with the onset of MS.

The loss of myelin around nerve fibers can cause difficulty with transporting memories to storage areas of the brain or retrieving them from storage areas. In MS, certain functions are more likely to be affected than others:
Memory (acquiring, retaining and retrieving new information)
Attention and concentration (particularly divided attention)
Information processing (dealing with information gathered by the five senses)
Executive functions (planning and prioritizing)
Visuospatial functions (visual perception and constructional abilities)
Verbal fluency (word-finding)

My most prevalent issues I highlighted.

Again thanks for understanding why I feel I must explain myself?

MS CLASS 101.

Happy good night all!

Count those blessings and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
