She felt that the Beta-Glucan was not for me and so it is going back!
I guess we are paying for its return, but the actual supplement's cost will be refunded. ( I did call them as soon as I came home.)
What my neurologist did say is that I will be upping my Gabapentin from the 900 mg. to the 1800 mg. at 300 mg. increments and she also feels that the Cannabis oil will be beneficial for me with the Gabapentin also; in other words take both, and my pain should be able to be manageable.
I go back to her in a little over three months.
It had been figured out that my negative reaction to the Gabapentin previously had been due to my eGFR kidneys going down to 32, but now this last time it has gone back up!
And so Dr. Lillianna Montoya, my neurologist feels and says that the higher dosages of the Gabapentin will be okay!
Fortunately, we have two legitimate cannabis oil distribution centers right here, one in Punta Gorda and the other one here in Port Charlotte. We still do not have insurance paying for it and it is quite expensive, just to get started, $250 for the doctor examination to determine you are a candidate, then the state health department card another $80, and then the actual Cannabis oil priced from $50-$100, my doctor told me.
So a lot to consider.
Meanwhile, until I get an appointment I will be slowly adding by 300 mg. increments increasing the Gabapentin, again.
Note: Last year we all voted on allowing medical marijuana in Florida and it passed!
Well, my eyes are telling me I am all done for tonight... and so...
