If not, what about those multi million dollar commercials?
I remember a time when a minute went for a mere 500K, or maybe that was thirty seconds, yup way back in the early nineties!
And people were shocked then.
Oh why did I know about the cost?
At that time, twenty-six years ago I was working in promotion and was told by the owner of our company.
You see, her adorable towheaded son had made a commercial with his Pop Warner team way back then, and I think that it was long one a minute and half commercial.
BIG BUCKS THEN!
But now the price then was a bargain in comparison to the inflation of 5.5 M tonight!
My Dad enjoyed all sports so if he were still here, oh dear he would be 111 now, and he would be watching and most likely hoping the New England Patriots and how impressive Tom Brady is and all and that they would be the winning team, since we're north easterners then living in Bergen County NJ... but after Hubby and I married we moved to south Jersey, in fact to less than an hour outside of Philly, Philadelphia, PA and so we would be then and today Philadelphia Eagles fans!
Although, if the NY Jets were playing then that would be a whole other BOWL/BALL GAME, HA!
Sadly the Giants not so much.
But in the day with Broadway Joe Namath on the Jets WOW!
I met him since moving to Florida at a health convention in Ft. Myers of all places!
Any-who, good luck to your team of choice.
I am just glad that we do not have those below zero temps here in Florida, 78 degrees now, and even if their Minnesota Stadium is seventy degrees that's crazy waiting on all those lines outside to go in, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr in those minus double digits! And watch yours they could fall off, your finger digits that is! Stay warm all!
Happy good night to all! Have fun!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
PS Gus is stable right now, no change.
