Dr. Tracy, the podiatrist, gave to me a clean bill of health today, he said till next time!
If his office wasn't standing room only I would have thought he was trying to drum up some more business! A decent doc!
From the doctor's office we went over to the ... you got it PUBLIX for their great bread in their bakery, and numerous other small items forgotten.
And while I waited in the car in our garage for Hubby to put our perishables away, since we called it close for our next stop...my BRAIN MRI!
Due to with and without contrast approval I was not allowed to eat after breakfast till after the MRI was all done.
So we finally found a parking spot nearby one of our favorite lunch restaurants Olympia! Within the last week and half we tried four times, but they were all full each time! Good for them, but not for us.
This time due to the chill still in the air, Hubby ordered coffee and I ordered hot tea with lemon and honey!
For lunch we went twinseys with both ordering hot open faced roast beef sandwiches with mashed potatoes and gravy, Hubby's with extra gravy, he had the New England clam chowder while I had their renown delish cabbage soup, YUM!
Half of my mashed potatoes and gravy, roast beef and bread, came home with Hubby asking for more gravy, since he will be eating it over the weekend.
I had been feeling yucky, other than the Multiple Sclerosis, I even threw up a bit of soup I had had for dinner, sore back too with adding in sneezing, coughing, runny nose, and now a slight temp of just 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Could be the flu?
So I am back in bed, nothing new there, with the vaporizer purring and spewing Vicks into the misty air, tissue box and basket alongside of me within reach.
Hubby lovingly at my beck and call, thank you Hubby!
He has been asking me what he can do for me.
But alas all is done.
I started taking my liquid cough medication last night, safe for me with asthma.
I use my simply saline and if my fever goes up we are well stocked up on extra strength Tylenol.
I am not allergic to tea as Hubby found out he was, so we do have plenty of green tea and other types as well.
Honey and lemon too, even dare I say canned chicken and brown rice and whole grain noodle soups.
My Claritin suffices for other decongestants
Rest would be great, but even last night my dilemma with my CPAP machine used for my sleep Apnea I would cough or sneeze into its mask, so I had trouble leaving it on and so that is definitely a difficulty with sleeping and consequently I was up practically all night long!
Yes, I do know rest is imperative to beating this flu, and I did receive my flu shot on Sept. 6, 2017, very important too!
Any other ideas or input would be welcomed ... thanks.
Hope our idiots that run this country get their acts together so kids get what they need medically, and DACA's Dreamers stay!
Happy good night to all and to all share those blessings and we will too!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
