Another day under my belt!

Each and every day we continue on this life's journey and it is a blessing.
People with extended family members nearby or within reach of their hugs and kisses are extremely lucky...and don't you dare ever think otherwise!
For I am so very jealous of that; is that so wrong?

Many family members are gone, as in dead  ... and others are very far away!
We have no grands, as in grandchildren and so that too makes me wish for if only...
But that could be considered selfish to want those things...After all more family created by offspring is not the same as keeping up with the Joneses and their additions of inanimate objects! These are people making people.

Oh no, no one has control over such things any more of people in their extended immediate families, and demanding such is frowned upon by the closest of your own production numbers, and I am not speaking of Broadway!

You create these beings out of love for your mate and from there you think when they find theirs (spouse) they too will continue the process… But you never ever suggest it; oh, maybe just in passing… give us some granddaughters so we can see pink and ballet classes, boys are great but we already had those, and of course we would love them too, ha!

Nah, no one can ever put in an order of grandchildren we can only hope for them like health and happiness.

Is it something we did differently than others I wonder?

So many of our age friends have tons of fun with their many little skip a generation selfies wandering hither and yon with them at the helm with less stress than the previous parental experience with what their own of theirs caused.

I so wanted to have that ability to be like my own parents who would love and spoil our boys and send them home joyfully; for our sons could never ever do any wrong in their hearts…the way it should be!

Now I fear I will never know that joy of another type of unconditional love that so many show and we would too…if only…

It seems that Sundays are the family days as they were when we were children too that all would somehow fit each other into our so-called busy schedules of life, even way back then, and of course on all the holidays too!

Not unusual to have twenty-five or more for dinner way back then…How I miss that!

Bittersweet with lives marching on; and some families make more and grow bigger and greater and some sadly diminish into less…

Melancholy me these days, so sorry!

I don’t know why…

But you all enjoy your wonderful days of life that seems to get better and more fulfilled daily and for that I am soooo happy for all of you!

On that note of envy being a good thing to share as in to appreciate and realize that happiness should never ever be taken for granted, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know who and we will too!
