Our mini hairy four legged puppy dog has been adjusting

Usually when you get a puppy it is not unusual for them to have, on occasion tummy issues.
In every other way Aussie is just perfect, disposition, bright with understanding simple words, like no, yes, sit, come, stay, go get Daddy or Mommy, even knowing the names of most of the myriad of toys he has inherited already. As I mentioned briefly he appears to be not your usual canine companion; he seems to have a very high doggy IQ!
At not even four months old, he even knows instinctively which one of us needs his hugs and sloppy kisses at any particular moment in time by telepathy!
He must have been heaven sent.
I do not know if I mentioned that he was removed from a animal hoarder's home, to have his better future.

They are coincidental things though from little else we do know about him is that when we adopted him this past Friday that was on Hubby's brother's birthday, and the day he had been neutered was on Hubby's Mother's birthday, and if he truly was thirteen weeks old as of this past Friday that would have made his birthday on Hubby's birthday! Getting goosebumps!

Spoiler alert though, the paperwork they gave us actually says that he was born two weeks earlier than that! Oh well... close enough and Hubby and I thought that we would celebrate their birthdays together.

We asked right away when we got him about all his shots etc., and his paperwork confirms he is up to date on all his puppy shots as of last week on our anniversary! He is not yet micro chipped though.
Pet Smart gives coupons for the rescue animals, and one was for a free initial exam that we scheduled when we went inside for his harness, also we had a coupon for that too, and also included there is one free training course.
The short time we did have him on a lead he was not into being tethered, who is really?
Any-who, that will have to be taught.
His socialization is on hold till his tummy ache is better, but oddly enough he is catching onto housebreaking in spite of his queasy squeasies.

So severe we moved up his doggy doc appointment from this coming Friday to ASAP.
Oddly enough he is very hungry, and when we had bought him, before bringing him home, a twenty pound bag of the puppy food that he had been eating with his foster parents, and he still was having diarrhea using that.
The info says he has had it before in January six days before his neutering, never saying if it had been diagnosed from what? No blood, thankfully so.... possibly just stress? But he is sooooo laid back in all other ways.
Being pet parents forever, we knew to put him on boiled chicken and rice nearly immediately, and so we did, for the last two days now, but the problem still exists, thus the doc appointment.
He is drinking water, playing, sleeping and even attempting BIG BOY relieving himself outside, but understandably there have been a few fails.
GOOD GRIEF! HE IS NOT FEELING WELL!

But what a trooper!

He even was playing fetch with balls and a stick and brought them back each time! Even with himself.
Did I mention that all sized Australian Shepards are first cousins to Border Collies? It's good to know even though a mere cousin that he is still very smart too! Ha, as my cousins know not all of us are as smart as them, hee hee! Unless they mean smart-ass! Oops did I write that out loud, here?
Border Collies are considered the smartest dogs alive; unseating the poodles of that title years ago!

Hope that it is just the move into his forever home causing it, meanwhile Hubby did a grocery run for more chicken and rice.

We are hovering too due to too many sick doggies, we are a bit frightened.

Pray for Aussie not having a too serious of a problem, please, we will be doing that and also do what we can to make sure that he feels better real soon. The vet is tomorrow!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

Good night, we all hope.
