71/36!

Testing was begun this morning for my heart.
And yes they DID find mine, ha!
First the echocardiogram, an ultrasound of the heart, and that went off without a hitch.
Next was the ten EKG leads for the heart reading with an IV line placed in my arm with a blood pressure cuff on the other one, i.e. arm.
But at first they could not get any reading from the cuff and after a few tries the reading was scary, 71/36!
The two techs spoke with my doctor, after a few more too low tries and they decided that the small amount of radioactive tracer would not be used today on this test and today would be a picture taking day instead, and I did smile as always.
The diagnosis was that I must be dehydrated and so they administered a saline IV until and after my blood pressure went up to more "human" numbers 100/49, good enough for those PICS I mentioned above.
Fortunately, this part of the test is a two part-er, Monday if my blood pressure is within the realm of what some consider normal they will shoot me up with that radioactive juice, WOW!
Good thing it hadn't been done yet and that they did have me monitored or I would most likely not have been here tonight to tell the tale! Apparently, it lights up all those arteries and mine were asleep or something not right, I'm not quite sure, but they nixed that part of the test till Monday due to reading my body as DANGEROUS! How nice, not that since I was a young gal, bud dump dum, nah they never said that...
Any-who, I napped after we did go out to lunch, my comatose type sleep lasted another two and half hours and I still feel like someone is sitting on me, and nope no one is!

Moving on...

Hubby is now seeing my doctor too, professionally that is.
And she has reasoned with him on getting certain tests that most get at fifty and he being sixty-six they are a long overdue, and thank goodness my doc did what I had tried for years and years to get him to do. And his answer to me was that I am NOT a doctor, not nice Hubby, although true, I am NOT a doctor.

Far as the rough weather goes that we were expecting we did luck out again for today.
Although, the tides over the weekend promise to be dangerously high, fourteen feet above the usual in some areas; like a tsunami, scary! And we are five minutes by boat from the harbor, Charlotte, and our elevation at our home from the water is only nine feet, uh oh...

Pray for our northern friends in those horrendous blizzard conditions, and hopefully some of those prayers will come this way!

On this note of care enough to show it, and allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy, healthy and safe good night and ask all of you to kindly count all your blessings and to
share all those overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
