We do get around...

...sometimes...like today.
Errands with our now "service dog" in training, would you believe?
No?
Well it's true; Gus has a card to prove it and a certificate and even a vest stating that.
So far he has been in every place we have been including Rooms to Go, Home Depot, okay he was allowed in there before his super guy attire, but one he had not been in before today was Sears in the mall.
It was a good day for errands for many reasons:
1. my phone was watered last week to the point that the rice trick did not work even when submerged for twenty-four hours in it!And so after surf shopping online and reading reviews and sticking with our dumb phone needs, since we are NOT smart phone peeps by any means, and you can take that anyway you wish... we found a comparable priced phone to our two and half year old ones, yes Hubby's was not swimming but his battery was giving out and to replace it was a thirty bucks expense and the phones were the same price as our Motorolas were two and half years ago, at thirty-five dollars a piece, Envoy by Consumer Cellular, also our cell phone company and so it only seemed logical and cost effective etc.
This time I went for red, while Hubby stuck with basic black.
Oh my phone's watering down was due to my walker always standing by the pool steps for my entering and exiting assist at the railing and me apparently accidentally splashing too much or when I spilled Gus's water bowl when I sat it on the seat to take it out for him and my phone I take out for what reason I do not know since my home/house phone is used at home, odd about that and why I cannot pinpoint the how my seat underneath compartment was floating that day for the very first time? Any-who not going to happen anymore, ya know? Freak accident, hmm?
My sim card was so fried even trying to transfer info was not able to be done, lost a lot of numbers, now I only have three Hubby's cell, Number One's cell and the house phone, darn I will have to re-collate off his and Google so many others.
2. With all the rain for the last two nights the pool water was way too cold for me to venture into it and walking around is another good exercise especially in climate controlled buildings since outside is very hot, hot, hot.
3.We needed our B complex vitamins at Walgreen's as well as my generic tummy medication, same as Prilosec. Hubby's stop alone.
4. Not to mention Hubby's three prescriptions, maintenance ones, were ready at Publix's pharmacy too. As well as a couple of staple items that we needed. And no I did not go in this time with Gus, since I was pooped, Hubby did, but he has the ability to go now with that vest, while we waited in the car.
5. Today lunch was provided by Subway that resides in the parking lot of the Publix shopping center, of course at a price, but a cost effective one, ha! Hubby again went in inspite of them having a drive-thru.

So we got home just after the news at noon and ate our lunches and then activated our new phones and asked questions about a few extras that our old ones did not have. Right now Hubby is adding them into the car Bluetooth; our salesman did it when we initially we had bought the car last November, and it's more complicated then one would think so we asked and got the know how from the nice lady Kayla at Consumer Cellular at toll free answers at your fingertips or online whichever you prefer.

On that note of now we're doing....something, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you all to kindly count all those blessings and share those overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please here or be square, ya hear!

PS the usb cord combo for computing uploading and recharging comes with the phones so eventually I will be posting those phone pics when I learn how to do it! INSERT BIG SMILE HERE!
