Pets do their thing but more importantly...

Pets have been known to lower blood pressure by you just petting them, they make us get up and move around more to walk them or by playing with them, they do comical things, which in turn causes us to laugh at them, they protect us, keep us company when we are ill and know just when that is, and some even fetch things that we need, and never ever talk back to us, well some might, but they are great listeners; and on and on and on. All in all pets are more than a good idea they are a very wonderful necessity!

The times we live in they and they alone can be to some their only unconditional love that they get, when a family is far away or nonexistent.

Amazingly, my northern friend posted an article about just how pets help people psychologically and that is one of the many reasons they are used with veterans and convicts alike, but for different reasons with the same terrific affect, of causing calmness to ensue.
Nope I did not read her post, but I agreed wholeheartedly and yes, I am guilty of doing that so often it would shock you, but I know many don’t read what are my original writings either sadly, just agree with my titles or my sales pitches that I write to induce reading, but I suppose it only works most of the time?
Just the title told it all about the pets, and as we all know that can be nearly a synopsis of its inside storyline, true?

Thanks for the topic idea pal.
Gus had his last half of his antibiotic medication this morning.
Hopefully, he will be fine now.
All those things above mentioned about having a pet addition to your family is why we have adopted him.
And I am more than sure you all have your reasons too, as well as some excuses why you have not; none of my business either way.

Moving on…

Today was a rainy day with bringing nearly two inches overnight here, unusual in this our dry season, but welcomed.
You see, in the rainy season June through November you are told not to use weed and feed due to it washing into the waterways and causing algae blooms.

So we have to use it without high nitrogen or not at all or at this time of the year, which Hubby did two days ago when we were told it might be raining soon, but who knew this much, really?

We live on a saltwater canal and the last thing we would want to do is be responsible for changing nature at its finest!

So we have been cautious with using chemicals and mostly don’t. I at one time used all natural, ammonia, Listerine and dish soap which can be perfect for all flora outdoors fertilizer…but I am no longer the gardener, just the person with the suggestions, “like Geez the lawn has so many weeds in it or the garden which I used to weed daily by hand… is no longer my job.
So I have no right to complain, but I do try to suggest… that something SHOULD BE DONE!
Not kidding.
I can be annoying, but lovably, after all I mean well, for our yard to be very, very, nice, and admired, but no so much these days…but once, but again not my job anymore.
There was a time when people would ring our doorbell admiring plants I had chosen and asking where I had gotten them from, and saying how lovely our yard always looked…

Not my job anymore and, of course not as important as it was once to me.
Many other things have taken over priority, repairing and maintaining the home front and me also mentioning it subtly to Hubby why I believe this or that might need to be considered to be put on his, “Honey do” list, and of course he eventually does, make that always.
Seeing is believing, and since my eyesight has been back I guess that is why I have been a bit bossy with noticing it all.
Ironically when I was a boss I was told that I was NOT a Bossy Boss!
Funny how that works, hmm?

On that note of watching my voice getting too loud, perhaps I should only tell Gus, any-who allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know who and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
