A not so rude awakening

First and utmost Home Depot in Port Charlotte Florida does not cut glass or even mirrors...anymore.
But Charlotte Glass does and that is where my pseudo-porthole is at this very moment, it had been dropped off after my PT today, actually after our lunch. Apparently, Home Depot did cut glass and mirrors at one time, but not as recently as three years ago. After being set straight by that realization...I had called Charlotte Glass as Hubby had suggested that they do, but of course, that is what their business is, by their name alone one can tell that!

Any-who, knowing they would be the ones to change the fate of mirror number three that had met with a disastrous accident causing it to be eliminated temporarily from the nearly FAMOUS, "HALL OF MIRRORS" of this gal Tobi's and Hubby's abode; and knowing the problem had and could be rectified, but at what price one might ask?
Was this miniscule error to be rectified going to be the demise of the 'project' to be done on the cheap?

NO! I pray, OH NO!

Hallelujah!

The price, as per phone conversation with Deb who said after a bit of calculations that it would only be a mere $5.23, for the size required to make our porthole whole and be able to continue its notoriety of being a member of a select grouping called the Nautical Side of the Hall of Mirrors!
The daring outcast being left for its repairs was due to the fixer of such types of delicate glass surgery would be in later in the day, and then we could pick it up.

Hubby did not seem too concerned and suggested that either tomorrow or Friday would be soon enough...BUT THE HOLE, THE OPEN SPACE, looks so bare where number three MUST BE RETURNED TO!
Although, the shop is quite a distance, silly six miles there and back another six more, and Hubby's patience is more enduring than mine...we are back in our home for the next day; that is at least until my next physical therapy not too faraway...
So I will wait.
Have no choice, I don't drive anymore.

I am still waiting on my adult patience to kick in, is it like wisdom teeth?
Because I did get those early on and all anyone wanted to do was remove them, what's with that?
I still have two though, they grew in sideways and so they were left, perhaps that is why at times I appear wiser or maybe like a wise gal than a patient one?
Only another odd theory of mine, some get some things and others get others, true?

On that note that makes the smartest of you go, huh, allow me to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share those overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

PS Oh the title on this site; I occasionally look at which of my blogs are being read by others, and some are from years ago, and the rude awakening is that I don't remember most of them. It's sort of like reading someone else's writings, and the fact that I find some make me smile makes me feel pretty darn good!  And who doesn't need that reassurance every once in a while, and to get it from yourself is just plain weird, but  in a good way, you know?
