And so its begun...

Oh what fun!

The nurse arrived between eleven and eleven thirty A.M. this late morning and did her evaluation and asked us if the physical therapist could come this afternoon at four P.M. and so Mary had Mary notified to start this afternoon.

I have been told that I have been approved for six in home visits, out of the twenty that I was told my wrong coverage was on my policy without any copay what-so-ever?
So why only six, even Mary said best not to use them all up. She looked at my copy of my lumbar MRI and being a veteran of back surgery herself said that instead of going to an orthopedic doctor for all my back problems I would be better off with a neurosurgeon. Her feelings were logical with all those nerves so close to my bulges and herniation and having stenosis and spondylosis and severe degeneration.
She will be using an ultrasound and our own TENS machine on me when she returns Thursday. Gentle stretching and no twisting or lifting ever!

Apparently, I will be eventually able to sit, and walk better when all is said and done, and yay!

So now Mary that is PT Mary will be coming back twice a week.

My new insurance should go into affect within ten days I have been called and told just today, another yay!

Moving on...
Yesterday, was a near heart attack day I received a refund check, not for our taxes but from Express Scripts for $2000!
Yea, I was shocked and could think of no logical reason for it, except all the aggravation they caused me, but no,
I did not sue them, ha!
But Miss Epitome Of Honesty felt it had to be a mistake or some other joke and so I called them to verify that I indeed deserve this surprise from the money gods... And the call was just as wild, the fellow I spoke to Rob, absolutely verified that the check was good and should be put into my bank. But he had to call me back to tell me the details of the why and that would take a few days, two or three.

Meanwhile, thankfully we don't need that "gift", to make ends meet or pay bills. We already took care of our taxes and even though we decided for the heck of it to itemized this year, and with our out of pocket medical expenses being $13,400 including premium costs and half the year of Hubby's new smile bill, and our mortgage interest was nearly two thousand this year that we had all the documentation for, again we are not having to pay but we don't get anything back either... ahhh retirement; for these last seven and half years have been a tax easement!

When you have little, or should I say just enough, simplicity is wonderful! The online H&R Block that we have been using all these years was again a freebie too!

On that note on updates, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and if you would kindly count all your blessings and share all those overages with you know who and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
