Taking medications has its necessaries...

I bet you’ll think that once you get on these drugs, albeit, legally prescribed ones… that all you have to do is just take them, hmm?
Well in a way you are right, but there is a right way and wrong way to take them…
If you are given instructions, which all pharmacies should do and I do believe they are legally obligated to do so by a bond or threat of going under, or some such thingy; they will tell you to take them with or without food, or at bedtime, or before or after meals, or gosh this many times a day…and then to make sure that you are well aware of all the side effects you must read the small print that also claims it is not recommended to drink alcoholic beverages with some due to causing sleepiness or dizziness, but other ones it is ok to help you fall asleep and that if it is taken hours after, i.e. the alcoholic beverage of choice, and don’t eat any grapefruits with others, since doing any or all of those things you could drive into traffic and kill yourself or maybe others or just yourself with a blood clot anywhere on your ill body! This is all very true!
And to maintain that these wonder drugs, and now we all know why they are called that, hmm, I am still wondering why I am taking them....any-who... that periodically we will have to test your blood to make sure they are really working and not causing any other diseases that they cannot help, but could cause, by accident, of course, not by us not warning you since we did comply with that obligation here or there or sometimes in the last year, we must send you about four times a year to a Vampira or Vampire to withdraw your ruby golden liquid to test, which holds the keys to your very existence, but to make sure that you are still okay and that your insurance is still working okay too…, hmm?

And so that is where we went, in the wee hours of this morning, not really, but before nine A.M., for my blood-work to be put on trial within those cute little vials...
Mine are always fasting, blood tests that is, and that is to see that whatever I usually eat for breakfast has no effect on my very own blood that I will shortly after the test is all over with and all is said and done… I will then install things that will compromise my stuff that flows within me that they so cautiously tried to protect, got that?
Seems a bit silly still to me, to you too?
Now add in the fact that I am back on the steroids… and they do allow for medications to be taken, even water or black coffee…I did not take those meds or even start my new step-down steroids until it was all over, ha, I suppose I fooled them, huh!
I did NOT eat nor DRINK OR medicate!
Purity at its so-called finest, we will see what we will see by what I have so boldly done…
But for the heck of it and to get sort of a baseline, since I had been on those confounded silly step-downs twice this month before, more than a week or so, each for six days and so is this one also a six day one, once again…I tested my fasting glucose and you know what?
It tested at 115, now according to all those silly charts that they give to you from the doctor’s office, fasting overnight glucose to be normal should be 100 or below…well, all I can say is that these dumb steroids are screwing with me, and that boy I am sure glad I did not start the newest ones until after the test was done… looks like someone may be failing their A1C, I sure hope not!

On those notes of what and who knows for sure anything, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all of your blessings and share all of your overages with you know who and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
