Thanks for being here

Have you ever noticed when a larger than life axe has landed on a nation to destroy a theory, such as government, that the masses unify to overcome the harm created by the perpetrators?

Nah, neither have I. That’s not true, but do we really need another war on our home turf, with the enemy being such a small group of undesirables would it be worth it? Don’t answer that now, I know you’re angry, as angry as me I suspect or even more I bet! Nope, no can do, we fight civilized on this lands turf of the USA, with a vote, or the pen, or the Paparazzi, ha! Sure they all have dirty little secrets, hmm? Some have been exposed during campaigns, and some have even not been voted in because of their despicable behavior, and some have been voted in because of it!

But some times stupid offers of oneness with the majority believing that’s how they sway the people that they meant no harm to them/us, really?

Two of the people responsible for voting to shutdown the government unless the president would kowtow to delaying an already legal act, the Affordable Care Act for a year and therefore preventing uninsured and pre-existing people to access medical insurance; they somehow believed for them to not take salaries while we, our country, is in a shutdown mode is somehow a generous act or a form of solidarity with the real people or regular peeps or whatever, we the multitudes are called by these high and mighty idiots, while most of us believe it is extremely disingenuous of them, Misters Tom Rooney and Trey Radel, both GOP representatives from Florida! Who knows if there are more, perpetrating this idle act of trying to make lemonade out of their sour lemons they smashed on this great land!

Some now are even giving their staffers furloughs, huh, but not that many, most say they do not hire unnecessary personnel! Neither do all the places they shutdown, I suspect!

Thankfully, seven million people still had access to trying to get their insurance today, although there was a glitch in the system.

I even tried accessing the site for info, although, I still have insurance until the end of December with the PCIP, the federal pre-existing insurance plan, when it will no longer exist. In fact I paid them already this month and so I felt that I could now wait the short period to hopefully access the new possibilities when there are not as many trying at the same time, like on this the first day for: healthcare.gov ; their toll free phone number is 800-318-2596.

Now all national forests, parks, monuments, zoos, museums and the like are shutdown, fortunately the military will get paid that was made a necessary objective by the president. I sure hope this will be settled real soon, it has to be!

Praying might help, but who really knows; we tried everything else, hmm?

Moving on…To a somewhat embarrassing topic…

Our garage, sure we have a typical one, but after Hurricane Charley hit we threw, literally anything salvageable in there, since it had a tarp first and was a space that had room; the roof was still on, but leaked as entire house did as well, but less, ya know?

The house had to be gutted due to the raining inside and everything getting ruined, we had four temporary roofs before the money came through from our insurance company to hire a licensed roofer.

Any-who, the whole house was restored and modernized from its 1958 roots with all new plumbing and electrical, insulation, bathrooms, and kitchen, furniture of course, ceilings and lighting etc…lovely a truly updated home!

But our garage was left as is once things were determined to be of use or not… and other items were stored and things got placed and forgotten in makeshift closets inside the garage and shelves. Hubby was able to replace many of his rusted and broken tools that had been in the sheds that were flattened as well as our lawn mower and other supplies!

Living in our home took precedence of course and somehow we had enough money from the insurance to do the work ourselves and just enough for the house and even the laundry, but the garage, at the time was not considered as important…

And now there is a contest that I had Hubby sign up for and if you vote for him we could win a ‘garage makeover’!

He is always fixing things making things to help me with my MS and he makes life easier, by building the ramps we have, privacy fence etc.; without worrying about broken things like just yesterday our air-conditioning, which without it I could have possibly ended up back on IV steroids again due to a severe exacerbation of my Multiple Sclerosis, and I do love him, very, very much… so please vote for him and thanks!

It’s easy, no names involved, just hit the thingy that says vote for this entry for Ken K. entitled, "Need to organize."

So on this note of shameless promoting, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and share those overages with you know who and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
