Gosh, so much to talk about Kwanzaa, Boxing Day and of course all those returns!

“Kwanzaa is a week-long celebration held in the United States honoring universal African-American heritage and culture, observed from December 26 to January 1 each year. It features activities such as lighting a candle holder with seven candles and culminates in a feast and gift-giving. It was created by Maulana Karenga and was first celebrated in 1966–67.” This brief description is thanks to Wikipedia.
“Boxing Day is traditionally a day following Christmas when wealthy people in the United Kingdom would give a box containing a gift to their servants. Today, Boxing Day is better known as a bank or public holiday that occurs on December 26, or the first or second weekday after Christmas Day, depending on national or regional laws. It is observed in Great Britain, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and some other Commonwealth nations.
In South Africa, Boxing Day was renamed Day of Goodwill in 1994. In Ireland it is recognized as St. Stephen's Day (Irish: Lá Fhéile Stiofáin) or the Day of the Wren (Irish: Lá an Dreoilín). In the Netherlands, Lithuania, Austria, Germany, Scandinavia and Poland, December 26 is celebrated as the Second Christmas Day.
Although the same legislation—the Bank Holidays Act of 1871—originally established the bank holidays throughout the UK, the day after Christmas was defined as Boxing Day in England, Scotland and Wales, and the feast day of St. Stephen in Ireland. A "substitute bank holiday in place of 26 December" is only possible in Northern Ireland, reflecting the legal difference in that St. Stephen's Day does not automatically shift to the Monday in the same way as Boxing Day.
In Canada, Boxing Day takes place on December 26th and is a federal statutory holiday where all full-time workers receive time off with pay.” Thanks again Wikipedia!
Okay moving on… now ‘returns’ I do believe that I can handle this one all on my own, as you too will be able to too!
Keeping all receipts, I so do hope, with knowledge of any of those stores that your gifts of retunability quality have to go back to is abundantly a necessary concept.
Why, you so boldly ask?
Because otherwise you will need a program to do it with the least resistance of your nerves going wild and stress taking you by the throat and compromising your well being!
Oh the throat thingy?
Yep, from yelling when the store won’t take it back since you did not follow their procedure to the letter!
Having the receipt for instance should have that information or you can turn around fifty times in a circle and pass out in their presence and see what happens, kidding of course…but who knows what lengths some may go to, to get their refund or store credit or perhaps just a free (To them, not to the gift giver or you the gift receiver, because you just want cash to spend elsewhere!) tokens to spend in their store at a later date…all legal, I might add, and according to their place of business with their rules!
Whatever happened to the customer is always right, hmm, you ask?
Well, its still there as long as you play the return game accordingly to the legality of their system…huh?
Their rules again, but remember their reputation is on the line and as a consumer, now you didn’t hear this from me, but you could mention it to them… that is if you are happy with their practices of their return policies or not and whether or not you will shop there ever again, but don’t tell them I told you this, OKAY? (It’s just between us, wink, wink...) You all are probably fine by now… since the day is nearly over and I am sure you have returned anything you didn’t want or need…if not, I hear that regifting is always another possibility for next year, as long as you don’t give it back to the person who gave it to you, hmm? And tomorrow is another day, some places even take gifts back weeks after they were purchased, as long as you have that definitive information notarized…LOL!
Any-who, personally, we have been quiet here and it’s now seemingly becoming our mode of handling life and holidays and what-have-yous? Not too bad, but noise is good too, joyous noise that is.

On that note of realizing that all is well after all, allow me to be the first to wish you all a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and share those overages and we will too!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
