Early and out!

This morning we were off to the vampiras laboratory.
That is my idea of what the labs do when the phlebotomist take your blood!
And the reason I called them the feminine of the species is because they more often than not have been women doing the deed.
I always wonder what joy a person in that occupation gets from draining large quantities of our bodies gold into plastic syringes for the rationale to see why you need to have the entire process done in the first place.
In truth, I do realize none of the persons involved in the extraction of the ruby fluid ever does get to know the end results of their work, in other words the why and whatever for.
And in my mind it appears to be a mystery without an end to it, and if I were them I would feel as if I were left hanging...
Once the completion of the removal of my juices that they required, which fortunately I still have more than I need… I felt odd, of course by this time I had not eaten anything for more than twelve hours and I had not been allowed to take any of my morning medications…torture for my betterment?
Is this what we as patients must do?
Must we cow-tow to the medicos who at many times a year hold our lives literarily in their hands when you live with a chronic disease? I did not ask when my doctor would have the results; I suppose I could call tomorrow…
But we all know that no news is good news, hmm; unless, they are too busy to let you know, hmm?
This is minor compared to many of the other tests that I had to prepare for; a colonoscopy vividly comes to mind…! LOL! YUCK!
All in all, once I was relieved of the small vile of my vibrant life’s force, in this case my blood, the prize was breakfast out with Hubby at the Olympia Restaurant right here in Port Charlotte and close to the lab!
After that on to Walmart to compare prices on wild bird seed and some odds and ends, we did come away with a couple of bags full and some extra dry skin cream… then moved on to Sam’s Club where we picked up the other items we find more reasonable there, such as coffee, and extra virgin olive oil and such.
We arrived home before noon, actually just after eleven, whirlwind and much accomplished!

The weather cooperated and I found when we left here this morning that I did not need my cooling vest, since it was in the low sixties and we arrived back before what I found to be my cut-off point for my need for my vest starting at eighty degrees, now I seem to have that timing right.

Paradise can be like that at this time of the year.
As I tell anyone who will listen that at this time of the year and again in March our temperatures are mostly in the low eighties (Fahrenheit) during the day and sixties (Fahrenheit) at night, perfection!

Although, another named storm is out in the Atlantic Ocean way off our Florida coastline, Sean, and he started as a sub-tropical entity and is now a plain ole tropical storm with a name, but fortunately he appears to be making his way towards the northeast of the Atlantic Ocean away from all the main lands…

I did have Hubby pick up that Zyrtec yesterday, which is actually in the generic and was only four dollars for the ten day supply, why you ask?
Well, when I did get to speak with my pharmacist yesterday, Pinkie said that the Benedryl cannot be taken more than two or three days and so I figured I was still not one hundred per cent so I would try his medicine that doses out to one at bedtime for just ten days.
Last night it still took me awhile to get to sleep even taking all my night time ones at eight P.M. due to the test this morning. I did stay asleep though until five forty-seven, and I must admit when we got home this late morning from our journeys I was tired enough to nap by one P.M. and I slept for another forty-five minutes, good?
Who knows…?

We will see and on that note of not going to let anything become more than it is and try to see the funny in all of it… allow me to be the first to wish you all a very happy good night and to ask you to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
