Another night another tale...

CRAZY!
Most of the day yesterday after taking the antihistamine I appeared to be getting better, and so my night was a horrendous surprise to me when it went so badly.
That’s right.
I did turn in about eleven P.M. and tossed and turned for hours. My head, neck and ears felt as if they were swollen, miserable.
It was daylight savings time last night and so we all turned our clocks here back an hour…I got up way before four A.M. and made a cup of green tea and thought that might help, since I had taken my medication earlier in the evening and I didn’t want to take anymore until the day began.
In my tiny brain I comprised a ‘mind schedule’ for this project of getting Tobi’s sinuses feeling normal once again.
And yes, I made the mistake of doing a couple of things they say that you should never ever do if you seriously want to get back to sleep and that was… that I turned on the computer and the TV on one or two or three of my wanderings around the shadowy dark house. I don’t need to turn on the lights anymore since I know where everything is. Besides our bedroom door stays open and the bright light would have awoken Hubby!
While up, I instinctively checked my emails on my two accounts and also did the usual look sees that we all do with the headlines on the welcoming screens.
But I shut it down with the determination to get back in bed… A ‘Bones’ repeat was on, the Jersey Shore one, oddly enough it was again on this early evening, and I did watch it halfway last night with dosing off periodically…
But my head and neck were just not willing to let me get that rest I so needed and desired! Each way I turned it felt so odd with discomfort, nothing seemed to work…
And so I emerged from under the covers which I could not even enjoy their warmth they maintained, and I called the sleeping of last night this early morning quits! To be fair if it were the old time it would have been four thirty-two.
In reality though I was up for the day before four A.M.!
Don’t get me wrong I was most of my adult life an early bird for years, but rising at five or six A.M., even for me three thirty-two was a wee bit too early for this bird!
My consumed logic of my plan to get well was put into action with designating times and ingestion of each and every medication that the professional healers had bestowed upon me! I was going to win this battle, and my systematic idea of my plan again appears to be working, since after my first dose of the new addition; I started to regain my humanity!
That is of being a part of this fine world, with sunshine and chilly temperatures, up and down all day long...
Oh, you thought I knew by going out into the world physically? Heavens no, I wouldn’t leave this temperature controlled climate of my abode that is; unless, we had definitive plans…We have one of those indoor/outdoor thermometers that tells you all day long the fluctuation of temperatures. And at one point inside and outside were both seventy-seven degrees with fifty-nine percent humidity, haven’t had that too often, if ever.
Usually, the humidity in the house is in the forty percent range but I had just showered and left the bathroom door open so I guess that is why it happened.
See, I am easily entertained.
Simple minds and all…
HA! If only…
I did have a few medical anomalies where my blood pressure was a wee bit higher than normal, and my glucose too, and even at one point my body temperature started to go up over the norm as well, but everything all calmed down and by enlarge I had a little bit better day.

All in all things seem to be looking up, I so do hope so on my sinus front, ha, and with that note of positivity allow me to be the first to wish you all a very happy good night and to kindly ask you to count all of your blessings and to share those overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
