When on a learning journey we all know that we should use many sources to find out the information that piqued our curiosity to begin with, hmm?
And so it is not unusual for anyone who has a chronic disease to turn up additional information on that disease’s symptoms that may not be so common to the general population who also suffer from it per se.
Or perhaps anomalies that turn up that could be just coincidental possibilities or directly responsible, got that?
Have you ever Googled your illness or someone else’s that you cared to help and found that a symptom that appears totally not the usual is one that no one had mentioned before?
Well, since I have had Multiple Sclerosis I am one of those that thinks, on occasion that all my other health issues may be related to it, and what I have found is…
That because it is an autoimmune disease that our immune systems are off kilter or better explained as compromised and that makes us more susceptible to infections, but no sinusitis is not caused by MS!
At least that is what I gleaned from my research on the topic from only others with MS discussing it that is sinusitis/ chronic infections of it in chat rooms for those things. In other words who knows…sometimes doctors interject common sense info there too.
As so many other problems that arise they may appear to make one think that everything is connected, but no, nothing is that simple.
We as a group of sufferers, oh I bet you think that using that terminology is just dreadful, huh?
Well, we sure we ain’t thrilled daily with our parathesia, spasms, blindness etc. and lack of just getting around and doing what we so yearn to do, and have fond memories of better times! (Authors note: I did not mention so many of the other graphic details/symptoms; since I was being kind to all you healthy people and I didn’t want to freak you out, OK?)
Whew, but boy, that did feel good.
All chronically ill people suffer, and some just pretend for their public personas that it’s all ok or perhaps they prefer denial and not sharing, but it isn’t OKAY for all of us!
As we all know knowledge is power and many of the Multiple Sclerosis associations believe that too and use it as their maxim, wouldn’t Sir Francis Bacon be so proud, and a little known fact is that he also invented bacon, no, not really, just pulling your leg, laugh, a joke.
And so like any human being knowing that and with all the advantages we have today with ‘The Internet’, gosh I still am amazed how fast I can solve an argument or find just what I am looking for, right here, day or night.
Anyone, who doesn’t admit that, daily, is not as curious as I am I suspect! Or has a life and is way too busy for this baloney, but as we all know I have way too much time on my hands and so I do look… and sort and think and figure out with my deductive reasoning, hmm… or which ever happened first to any of us in this time continuum, LOL!
On those words to live by, well not live by, but maybe just try to understand why… allow me to be the first to wish you all a very happy good night and to ask you all to kindly count all you blessings and to share all your overages and we will too!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
Speaking My Mind is about: Tobi, who is a middle aged, no, oh all right a slightly over the hill woman with all the imperfections that go with that, and this concerns her daily life's perceptions and experiences.
