Ratta tat tat I got me a rap... and you may even clap... hap, hap, hap!

I have come to the conclusion what the Wall Street protesters need is a quirky little rap spiel to express what they really want…go with me here… Okay?
Have I ever steered you wrong?
All right that may be, but that’s history!
Forgive me and move on…you know I am going to do it anyway with or without your approval, hmm?

Here goes…

“What we need right here is for us to be clear
and for those Richey Riches to know that we do fear
our not having any more gear,
like food to keep the mood to not be rude,
and an abode to be our mode for our commode so we won’t explode,
and a toad for our tots to not needs those who knows what’s… got it, get it, no we need to net it,
we are for the many and you cannot see past the money so we can have some too of that dear sweet honey!”

How’s that?
I suppose it could use some tweaking but at least I put it out there.

And I really do believe in their journey, but not all of them are using mellow fellow judgment and might give the rest who want what they want a bad reputation.
Why in California they got wild with violence and found the law enforcement folks were prepared for them ala rubber bullets.
Now we’re talking!
Rubber bullets all around, give them out to the criminals too I say!
Sadly, the quiet restrained local contingency here just south of us in Fort Myers Florida, keep receiving tickets for congregating later than the parks allow, and so the local authorities there felt they would teach those hostile do-gooders a lesson that they deserve to be fined were it hurts in their pocketbooks!
That’ll teach ‘em, hmm?
Fining people who are jobless and have no visible means of support sure will do their tax base well when all those $135 tickets get paid, hmm…. Like never!

Gosh, am I the only one who sees the futility in that logic?

On another important story front: It appears that Hurricane Rina is lessoning in strength it has gone down from a category two system back to a category one.
OK, now it is still quite a distance from us and some would say it is moving still at a snail’s pace at only the rip roaring speed of six miles an hour, but this storm should be watched, although the pros insist the worse it will be for us is a rain system by this weekend and rather fizzling and not too severe.
Whew, are we lucky or what?

Here on our own home-front: the last few days I found out two things that I have not been more aware of my Facebook friends own crosses to bear… by going to one friend’s page I found out that her eldest son passed away just a few weeks ago and of course I have since sent our heartfelt condolences and the other one was that our local weather gal’s infant son was wearing one of those helmets at six month old, but not because his head was misshapen from now lying the babes on their backs as many have had but he actually did have a more serious problem that caused him to need physical therapy due to head and neck problems, found out by the picture that mommy had posted back in July…who knew… bad me, again this is a teaching moment to not ‘assume’ since we all know that makes an ass (cringer factor, sorry!) out of you and me! I should have asked the mother what was wrong, but sometimes we all feel that is being too nosey, but let’s face it, it is better than assuming!
That’ll teach me, hmm?

On that moment of realization in life’s need to know… allow me to be the first to wish you all a very happy good night and to ask you to count all your blessings and to share all your overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
