Are you afraid?

Life is hard.
And that is just the way it was planned to be.
No one has it smooth sailing.
People will throw you an olive branch or hit you with a limb.
Nothing is taken for granted, ever, by those who truly know.
We, as beings of the human race have been told to be more co-operative with one another to survive.
But have we?
Will we?
I have no idea.
It appears just when we get close to camaraderie something happens to destroy the concept of caring for us one another as fellow men and women.
Although, we are slowing up the war effort and there is even a promise of an end to combat before the year is over.
Jaded, I’ll believe it, when I see it.
We have lost too many lives over the years in all wars that have all been considered just when ‘we’ get involved.
Yet someone’s father, mother, sister, brother child or whomever dies or is maimed way too often.
Bummer, I say.
We need lives saved all over the place and that means not only on the home-front, but all over the world!
Why am I the only one who sees the simplicity in it, since now most of the truly horrid ‘leaders’ have been gotten rid of…
Karma is a heck of thing, huh?
Stopping the wars is not so easy, so I am told.
Geez, it sure seemed easy to start them, but that’s just me.
And as we all know, I am not that smart.
I believe that this topic has been discussed to death, odd choice of words, hmm?
Well, in my book, quite appropriate.

Moving on... anyone recall my last month’s injury faux pas?
When I tried to amputate my thumb via the mandolin slicing potatoes for a delish breakfast of home fries and eggs for Hubby?
Any-who, it healed eventually and the remnants of the hospital ER run, i.e. bills, are still coming in...
Yep, I did have the good fortune of having the hospital giving us a break with an enormous discount which we charged and paid off within the time frame they asked for, but the doctor’s bill came last week.
And his is a bit more than the hospital’s discounted price and so I tried to negotiate with his billing department by sending them the hospital bill’s paid information with their 75% discount and thought that they too might take pity on an uninsured lady.
But today, we received a note saying it was a no go and that all they are willing to accept is a $25 a month payment, interest free until the $310 is paid off, what a deal, I ask you? Okay, it will take a year to pay it off, actually 12.4 months, at that amount, but they hold all the cards and so Monday I will call them and let them know I will be accepting their offer, what choice do I have?
I will pay online and so I won’t have to use any stamps that will save a bit there, but I pay all bills online anyway…
I tell you, we get one thing paid off and then something else comes up and here we go again!
Yep, in June I finished my cataract eye surgery from 1-12-2010 and then a few weeks later my ambulance bills, Hubby’s ambulance ride will be all done by next month all from 2009. The IRS was finished last month and I am still paying off my oral surgery from last November 2010. Although, also interest free and will be all finished with that by next June! But I have more eye surgery hanging over my head for that clouded lens on my cataract lens replaced eye, my lefty…are you following this?
Hope so, since I think I am getting a little bit lost! LOL!
Gotta laugh or I will cry!
Thankfully, social security recipients will finally be getting their C.O.L.A.,3.6 % this January, a cost of living increase after not getting any, get your mind out of the gutter, stagnant since 2008!
That should help a wee bit, I would think...
All in all, we are survivors!
Financially and physically; like the rest of you.
Somehow with all that goes wrong in life, roller coaster worthy happenings in life we somehow, some way keep going on, and on, and on…

YES! We beings of this earth are miraculous!
Someone knocks us down and we get up again and again, just the way I like it uh huh, uh huh, uh huh?
Staggering! Astonishing! Astounding!
Pat yourselves on the back, you all deserve it!
I, at times, feel that we do too…
Making it in this life seems not as hard as it looks on the surface, with our desires to enjoy it in spite of it all…rolling south than north with some east/west detours on the roadways here and there and everywhere, hmm?
Never ever dull or boring although I claim to have that thought on occasion, who can complain, why me of course!
It’s like I was born to do it! LOL!
And so now you know my secret what makes me laugh deep in my soul and where you can’t see it is this baloney of learning that everyone has a commonality in dirty laundry… if they tell it like I do nightly they would be stealing my gig!
And that makes me laugh like a bowl full of jelly, since that is my voluptuous form these days and that is quite a giggle too!
Ha! I made a funny calling this gig a giggle!
Can you hear me?
Nah, but if you could, you too would be laughing your butt off, and if that really did work mine would be invisible now! Maybe I should try that as a weight loss program, hmm?

Wacko, tonight for some strange reason and I have no idea why that is… could be that now, once again, they, the powers that be, have determined that our cell phones DO NOT cause brain tumors, whew how I worried over that one!
Sadly, next week they will probably take it back… as they have been known to do...hmm?

On that crazier than me statement allow me to be the first to wish you all a very happy good night and to ask you to kindly to count all your blessings and share your overages and we will too!
Have a great weekend!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
