Much

Taking time to write this nightly is part of what helps me continue when times get tough.
And believe me you are not the only ones with tough times, and so I suspect that is why I feel that you are my kindred spirits.

The word ‘much’, tonight refers to our lives in the respect that each one of us has much to do or to accomplish or have done in our pasts and that is not to say that there is not much more for us to continue on this path to do although we have already done so much, got that? One way of knowing that you are still a useful part of the world is realizing the importance of what you must do to continue on this planet called earth.

Some times this necessitates investigative skills that I like to pride myself on being somewhat of a former mystery murder writer and if that’s not all a voracious consumer of that genre of literature.
Love what you do and do what you love, is always good advice no matter who proclaims it. And I might add that pertains to anything you do from your work to family matters; it has a tendency to put a pleasant spin on everything! (Self talk again)

Brainwashing myself or others, LOL is not so terrible when done on the upswing with a positive air, true?
That’s what all those motivational speakers do, isn’t it?
No harm no foul.
Today was slightly different from days that came before it.
You see, yesterday we received a letter from the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) stating that they mistakenly gave us a $500 dollar additional refund that had been directly deposited into our account last February after we did our taxes online as we have been doing for years, utilizing the IRS tax preparers. And so when I saw that the amount that the electronically deposited as the refund was that much more I called that same day in February and asked them why they did it and they said that a mistake had been made in our favor and that they adjusted it to remedy the mistake. Okay I gleefully said, boy who couldn’t use an extra five hundred bucks and so I thanked them. Then yesterday they wrote a letter apologizing for their mistake once again and that we now had to return the money in one lump sum!
Well, any of you who have been reading this will know that we do all right paying all of our bills and even the medical ones that come out of our pockets since I am pre-existing and uninsurable, we pay them off in manageable increments that allow us to live with quite a bit of dignity and a good respectable feeling of not getting away with anything but paying our way!
And so we called the IRS immediately to see if we could set up a payment plan without interest charges since they admitted it had been their mistake and we were told to send a letter and enclose all the information of whom we spoke with yesterday and that it had been their mistake and that we had a additional medical bills since the last years ones and that we could pay it off in a proper way without interest in a time period such and such. And so that is what Hubby and I did this morning we composed a letter to the IRS and sent it off, only time will tell what will happen… We will keep you posted.(Years ago I found when we were in our own business that the IRS had overcharged us about the same amount while in business and they happily gave it back, how about that!)

Interesting how things change…

And then at around four today our insurance guy called for our homeowners and flood insurance, he wanted to stop by since he needed our signatures on the new insurance that will be a bit less in premiums than our old one, yea; finally some good news!
We changed companies and will be saving a couple of hundred a year.
That couldn’t come at a better time with me with new medical mouth/teeth bills and more to come and now this IRS payment, nothing ever evens out but everything helps a little.
See there is always much to do even if it doesn’t look that way to some people to us there is never a dull moment!

On that note of keeping things interesting we will wish you a very happy night and to all count those blessings and share those overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, OK?
