Wind chimes chiming sweet musical concertos...

Again our rain free evening is numbered with anticipation of a fleeting storm in our vicinity.
Sadly to our chagrin last night’s promise was never realized, and so I suppose the man bit the dog after all. LOL
The usual MO of a storm becoming imminent in our area is when the winds begin to pick up and then the gusts start usually by then we see the droplets beginning.
Drizzle is occurring presently; light and steady now, and so it is following true to form.

I wish we could make the wind chimes actually play a tune instead of this tuning up of orchestration of non commercial flavoring, ah silence, could our storm have fizzled?

Drip, drip, drip… there is still hope as long as there is a drip.
Bubble, bubble, bubble I see some trouble…
All is returning to a calm, but alas the trees are still a blowing in the milder wind!
Picking a varied amount of globules of moistness please…we need the relief!
The pool appears to look as if it is a bowl of enormous wintergreen mint Jell-O; if there was such a thing, it is jiggling like that!
All of these are my observations from my safe sanctuary of my sunroom, looking out at the view from our windows.
Oh well, the rumbles are moving away and the tranquility of our haven has returned to normal.
Gently the breezes stir the Mandevillas, Bamboos, and Hibiscus, palms swaying too in tempo to melodies that they can only hear.
This is a true paradise.
We are so fortunate.
Living where we can enjoy the rainy as well as the dry seasons, our only two that we do have here.

Moving on…

Yesterday was a pleasant day as well.
Our motive for our outing was to go to the library and also to get Hubby new eyeglasses we added a lunch out into the mix. And it was enjoyable too, at one of those sport bar chains.
All ambitions were accomplished; it’s so nice to have a stress free day!

My routine is rather non-exciting in the truest sense of what that means.
Oh well since you asked I will give you the cliff notes version, ok?
I awake somewhere between five and six A.M., I know, why so early you ask?
But a simple answer, habit.
I get on this computer and read my emails and answer them if necessary and then I look at my Facebook page, travel to the newspaper online, and all the while I have our local NBC affiliate news on the TV in the same room as I am in.
I pay bills online if they have to be and make quick work of it.
Next I would check in our laundry-room to see if any loads of wash need to go into the machine.
Then I have some breakfast and some of my medications, except for the one I take at bedtime and one of my multiple vitamins is also taken in the A.M.
When Hubby awakes around eight fifteen I prepare to go into our swimming pool for my Range of Motion Exercises and by a few minutes before nine the pool filter has done its job and I go in.
By nearly ten I get out and shower, and then I get dressed and use my auto-inject for my Copaxone, MS medication. I can do three locations my thighs and tummy and Hubby can do the other four back of my arms and hips, thankfully it is only once a day!
And now I am ready for going anywhere we might desire, or reading and just hanging out or folding laundry and doing mild housekeeping like dusting Hubby has taken over vacuuming, since I can barely stand these days without falling over.
My eyes are also very blurry these days, so if I miss some dust I won’t notice so please if you do decide to visit which I enjoy tremendously don’t wear white gloves to check, ok? LOL

Writing this Blog after dinner has also become part of my daily routine.
And I lament to all that I am retired, but in actuality, listen closely…I am just real TIRED!
And so I am not much for ambitions these days only of course if miraculously I were offered a book deal for this drivel I call my own.

On that not too sympathetic self in my own reality I will bid you all a very happy night and to all ask you to count those blessings and we will too!

PS Congrats to Elena Kagan on your confirmation as the 112th Supreme Court Justice, as someone I used to know as a child but turned into a very smart man just said, “You will be great!”

PSS I am up to 470 friends on my FB page, hooray!
