Normalcy, huh, what's that?

We began to detox today from the roller coaster ride caused by the endless Mom Saga.
It was almost a Mom free day. One email arrived from her neighbor giving us a positive update, ok we will take that.
The day appeared normal in just about everyway.
I did start a couple loads of laundry before Hubby awoke.
On the second load I was able to use that new gizmo that is for us in the getting on in age crowd who forget to put the dryer softener sheets in with our laundry. Its the brand new idea of the two month stick to the bottom of the dryer system to soften those things that need that sort of thing, got that?
Halfway through my towels’ drying it dislodged and started to sound like I put a small truck in the dryer, and so I stopped the machine to try and figure it out, why it happened and had not a clue so I threw it back in and figured it would still work just as well.
Hubby came back in from outside and heard the racket and asked what was up, and I told him that I fetched the box out of the garbage and that I will have to call the manufacturer since there was a problem with their product and it didn’t seem to work quite right.
Hubby checked for himself and found that the holder was still affixed to the dryer, all that had happened is that log system came out…oh my, how silly of me!
To be fair it was my first time using the product, so OK? LOL

Moving on… Hubby went back to work on the boardwalk again this morning and he’s getting closer to completion.
I sat again outside to watch and tend to my houseplants that now live out
there. You see, they were not doing so well in our low humidity inside our home, and here it is OK for them to be outside since it is very doubtful that our weather will be too cold for them or us or even any living thing for the rest of the season, TA DA!
In fact this weekend portends to be in the mid-eighties where it should be!

Hubby and I are both interested in a comment that we both heard on the local TV news; and I will be writing a note or email to my face book friends that most of them are from our station down in Fort Myers. We both would like to know why some of their weather people call themselves meteorologist, and some call themselves weather people?
When I get an answer I will let you know…logically I would think some have degrees in the field of meteorology and some are journalist that report about the weather, well we shall see. And this is what I wrote:

“Why do some who give the weather reports say that they are meteorologists and some just say they are weather people? Is it just a matter of degrees? And please forgive the pun.”

On that provocative note I will say good night and suggest for you to count your blessings and we will too!
