Today...

Sorry to say that when you have so much excitement like we had yesterday…you really need an ordinary day to renew your stamina when you’re our age.
And so we balanced out our momentum by sticking around the home front once again.

This is a good thing since through revitalizing your motor is regenerated; you do know that it is all about utilizing R & R appropriately? Of course you do!

Hubby used this day not quite as gently as I did, he took it upon himself to redo our fish pond since the fatality rate has been rising, and we are now down to just eight from our original twelve, which could be attributed to the old age of our Goldfish who are genuine Goldfish not Koi. Which are actually carp that are all in the same general family but life expectancies are way different. Goldfish live outside generally about five to six years while Koi can live thirty or more. Thus the price difference too, Goldfish a dollar a dozen, Koi $75 or more for each!

So that is why ours may very well have just reached the end of their life cycle, or maybe our algae became more dominant in the pond either way we are now crystal clear once again due to Hubby’s renewal of our pond. Interestingly the only other type of fish in our pond is the Mosquito eaters which are live bearers, they are freebies from our county extension, just call and they bring them right out to your pond, yes they do deliver! Well, those little beggars that actually began as a mere dozen are now well over one hundred strong we bet, since they move too much we haven’t actually been able to take an exact count!

While Hubby was busy with all that I did the usual this and that indoors…preparing meals straightening the house, dusting etc. you all are well aware of the daily routines of home maintenance. Taking breaks in between with relaxation.
We also got out two Christmas/Holiday cards out to Hubby’s Mom and our number one son, with a little something in each, if you know what I mean? You don’t. LOL
Mom got a dinner out card plus a forty percent off coupon for her favorite craft store. Number one son got a check to do hopefully with whatever he wants to do; both of them are not that easy to shop for.

On that joyous note we will bid you all a good night and to all count those blessings and we will too!
