Happy Chanukah, and back to our norm...

Tonight I wish all who celebrate this holiday to have a Happy Chanukah!
Our family is quite diverse and we celebrate most all holidays including Chanukah so the same to you and yours.

Our day, as I said above, today we got back to our non-exciting usual. We went to the grocery as we had planned and I did take care of Hubby’s dirty laundry from his trip.He actually finished the load by folding it all and putting it away, what a joy to have him back!

He left the faraway cold country apparently just in time since because, according to the email from the neighbor, who indicated that they’re high for today was only 23 degrees, brrr. Boy, Florida is so nice in comparison!

We wrote back and let him know that this weekend that here it will be in the mid-eighties, are we bad or what? LOL

Now this could be fun, and after all was said and done Hubby truly believes he does have Hubby’s Mom’s welfare in her best interest, and has adopted her as his own since his Mom had passed away ten years ago. We can only hope that he is genuine for Mom’s sake.

Hubby also expressed how miserable the traffic was up there in cold country compared to here in the southern warmth, how soon we forget, but now ours doesn’t seem as bad to him, ha!

I am so glad that I have him to drive us around instead of me. Maybe because we have so many tourists this time of year and that when they come down they seem to act like they are lost most of the time, perhaps they are not pretending I bet, but I beg to differ with Hubby, here too they are pretty darn bad drivers also!

We both have this pet-peeve of people not using their directional indicators, and switching lanes the last minute without any warning or telling! Why do people do that? I always wondered since when we are taught to drive we are always told to use them.
Aggressive drivers are rampant too, and then you get some of those way too slow ones…
You know the ones that can barely see over the steering wheel, male or female but very light colored hair either gray or white usually…but Hubby’s hair is that color too now!
Uh oh, but he can see just fine over the steering wheel, and he insists that his driver’s license says his hair is brown, oh well…

On that silly note I will wish you all a good night and to all count those blessings and I will too!
