Dow rose over 174 points the highest in long time!

This just in: We have killer whales that we just noticed here in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico!

Tornadoes and floods in the mid-west and southeast, north of here, oh my, what horrors!
Our country is back in the weather game that is of that the natural occurrences are very bad that have been coming at us; it appears to happen every year at this time.

I sincerely wish none of this would happen to anyone, but folks please remember all this when you can’t understand why we in Florida love living on our coastlines when we get that occasional hurricane. (Most coastal cities all over this country also have many homes on their shorelines, with the same threats as us.)
Yes, I said occasional, we have been living here now for nearly 23 years and only had one hurricane that directly hit us.
How many can say that in their part of the world about their devastating natural weather devastations from floods, fires, mudslides, or tornadoes, must I go on, or you get the idea.

I think that snow storms look pretty but can also be tragic causing avalanches and horrible driving conditions and snowing you in so you cannot get out.

And so again I wish us all a safe season whatever they may bring by nature’s wrath.
Be prepared for anything is how it should be for all of us.

This is the first state that has taken the initiative to have hurricane conferences all the years that I have been living here that I am aware of, they usually start next month for our hurricane season that begins on June 1 and runs through the 30th of November each and every year for our entire state and I am sure other Gulf States as well.

The funny thing about these dates is I haven’t a clue how long they have actually existed, but one thing I do know is that they were determined long before we became permanent residents here.
And to think before that when we still lived in good old NJ we would wait until our sons finished school for the year to trek our way down here at the end of June and at the very beginning of it all supposedly going on here, and never once did we get caught in any of it, and that was since 1976, ten years before we moved here!

Since those two horrendous summers, 2004-05, of that ungodly amount of storms many people are still afraid. Well, odds are in your favor for nothing at all to happen, how about that? Think about it, prior to those, 1992 was the last hurricane of impact of that type devastation; I think you might remember it, Andrew, which was a category 5?

Any-who, we here in Florida want you to come to our fair state that’s nicknamed, the Sunshine State for a very good reason, we are mostly sunny!
Hah! What did you think I was going to say?

And yes we all have sunshiny personalities.
We love you guys from every corner of the earth!
So always remember to come on down!

On that happy note, let me wish you all a good night and to all count those blessings and I will too!
