How are we doing?

That's something we all should ask ourselves on a daily basis, how are we doing.
My reasoning is simple if your eyes opened, you were able to get out of bed and find the kitchen and there was food for you to eat in it; then you are doing great!

Think of it this way if you have a roof over your head, and if you have eye sight, and if you walked on your own accord and there was sustenance for you to allocate to yourself and your house mates that, in some circles, is heaven on earth!

Perception now is something we all have to deal with on a regular basis.
What seems like the worst of times could be the best of times if you put a positive slant or spin on it. The current climate of the economy is making us all discuss money woes more than ever before; in turn this taboo topic in actuality is teaching each and every one of us how to make a difference with how we manage things. The door is now open for so many so-called topics that were at one time considered rude to bring up, but now come out into the forefront of conversations at dinner tables and break-rooms all over America.
We find ourselves networking with our fellow Americans to learn how each and every one of us is coping and solving these commonalities of problems that never before would have been discussed.

It is not uncommon, why after the hurricanes that is exactly what we all did we shared our experiences, and after those horrors we did something else positive we shared the people’s names or agencies, and companies that we could contact to help us with the recovery; simple logic to the nth degree, and it all worked out.

I guarantee that in our future years from now all that we will remember of this time in history is that it was difficult and that we did survive and learned many new and interesting components of our nature as human beings that will continue to endure.

As a child I recall being told that hardships build character, and at that expense we should all realize what characters we will become!
Having all things going your way all the time does not teach you a damn thing in life.
We must use this time in our lives to learn as much as we can to be flexible souls for our next test in life could be just around the corner.

Updates: Our electric bill went down over $65 dollars this month, and I do believe it was due to having nice enough weather to open our windows, and drying a few loads of laundry on the clothes line!
The fence project is moving right along at a cautious pace, due to the installer’s slower abilities, but as I said before no clock punching is involved in the production of this installation.*
*Reasoning: why would anyone give some one an entire cedar fence for a backyard for free? This is just a theory: but I think perhaps since my husband treated this young man as a son and helped him in getting his Captain’s license which is now his source of income, and also helped him for no charge with his first job removing a 65 footer Shrimp boat from a sandbar, but this is just my theory. And in closing he is now in another home that he is renting and could not take the fence with him, and did not want to leave it for the bank since he had paid for it separately himself.
Any-who… that is my way of seeing the possibilities! I analyze everything!
On that note I will bid you all good night and to all count those blessings and I will too!
