The Stock Market ends the week up!

For four days this week the Dow Jones actually went up in the right direction. And that is hopeful news for the nation and perhaps the world, since international markets did too.
What does this all mean?

Well, it could mean a lot of things.
Mostly though I do believe this is a confidence issue that seems to be a positive vote for a good change.

We all hope and pray that each slight upturn is one step closer to the end of this miserable time in our lives.

Knowing more than any of us ever wanted to know about the ‘Economy’, is frightening to us commoners who had been kept out of that loop for so long.
This is not to say that we were unaware of our own finances, but to hear it you would definitely think that was the case for those who got caught up in this master mess.
In actuality only less than 30% of Americans are in truly serious financially difficulties, but when you say that out loud that is absolutely horrendous!

Then what has happened since our new president has taken office is a good thing.
He has been in high gear ever since he hit the road running to get the job done, and he is doing it!

We as Americans are not a patient folk by any means and all things do take time.
But even while all these adjustments are taking place people are still complaining.
Now is the time for all good men and women to come to the aid of their country by being cool, patient, and sick like in awesome good. We should try it who knows we could like it.

Now to Bernie Madoff the head of all self possessed bailouts of 65B he duped so many out of, he is now thankfully in jail for 150 years for his pleading guilty to all accusations.
So where’s the money, Bernie?
And he might have been smart but not that smart, no criminal is and this was way too big a Ponzi scheme for one guy, so who else is involved and will the feds keep looking with him pleading out?
The tale is that the SEC was alerted years ago, but did nothing; shame on you guys!
Think of all those people whose fortunes would have been saved if you had intervened, charities too, and all those regular Joe’s, poorer folks with their retirement monies gone!
It disgusts me just to think about all he took without thinking of any of the ramifications at all, what an awful specimen of non-humanity.

Back to our reality: Happy Friday the 13th!
I’m not so superstitious since not having too many bad things happening to me on this day.
OK, Hurricane Charlie was on a Friday the 13th, and yes that was bad.
But to be fair it was on a Friday the 13th, that I found out my MS was stable from a MRI done on that day. Unfortunately, my niece did die on that same day, but at the time I was totally unaware of it.

OK, yes it is not a nice day to think about for me, but really those bad things could have happened on the 12th or the 14th too?

So we should look at each and every day with a positive perspective, since most will agree that the power of positive thinking is what truly works in this life, except for things we have no control over like weather and issues of life and death.

On that thoughtful explanation I will bid you a good night to all and to all count those blessings and I will too.
