Choices and why decisions can be fun if not interesting

Being a fairly decisive person, but honestly not always, but I do admire others with that consistent ability.
So it does my heart good to know that one of the major concerns of our countrymen and woman has seemed to be decided.
The first dog’s breed, a Portuguese water dog seems to have become the popular favorite chosen one at this writing, although as we all know these things can change and often do.
Now the name seems for this famous critter appears to be in somewhat of a tie, either Moose or Frank, apparently it will be a male or not.
Now if I was asked which I would prefer, which more than likely I would not be, but let’s just say for arguments sake that if I were, my choice would be definitely an unqualified without hesitation that it would have to be Frank, since our President Obama has always been honest with us therefore, “frank” would be the unquestionable right choice in my opinion.
And Moose is a creature more at home in, dare I say Alaska, and we all know who we associate with that state, enough unsaid.
And these are my unabashed unrequested opinions and reasons for them, TA DA, so there!

Portuguese water dogs are of medium size about 45-50 lbs. and do not shed, which is good for children with allergies.
They are great swimmers, thus the name and are friendly and loving with everyone in the family, but they are also good watchdogs.
Young, puppies’ need many chew toys because as most pups they enjoy chewing on just about anything they can get in their mouths and so many chew toys are very necessary.
They are high energy and do well with large properties, but can be trained for an apartment dweller too.
All and all they do sound just like what our new guy asked for a non girlie type pet, you can’t really blame him with him being so out numbered with all those women in his living quarters?
Malia’s allergies should be in check with Frank’s coat not shedding.
It appears to be the perfect match for a young family with high energy and an allergic child, a win, win like all else for our new first family!
Happy families make good decisions, and so we will all win too.

I know no one asked me to weigh in on this major decision for our first family, but being an animal lover myself knowing how you will be spending the next 14 to 16 years with that type of commitment is so important to anyone who truly cares.
After all it is the only family member you can choose!

So on that note... let me just say again good night to all and to all count your blessings and I will too.
